He walked up to me, took my hand, and kissed it. "You're an expert player, Heidi. We won because of you."

That was baloney. I'd been distracted most of the time—by his body.

"You did most of the work," I said. "How did you pick up the game so fast? I thought you hadn't played until you came here."

"I hadn't, but it only took a few weeks to understand the rules and strategy. Ollie and Eve took turns teaching me."

He hadn't let go of my hand, and now he rubbed the back of it with his thumb.

I resisted the urge to clear my throat because I didn't have any reason to do that. It was a dumb impulse. But standing here with naked Damian inches away from me and his hand holding mine, I couldn't think straight.

He kissed my hand again, this time letting his lips linger on my skin. "I have to get back to work, but I'll see you at lunch."

Damian sauntered away.

And I went back to my room. I tried to watch TV, even listened to some of the songs Damian had given me, but I couldn't relax. My thoughts kept returning to Damian in the nude, whacking a tennis ball around with a thug, his muscles flexing and his dick bouncing.

My body thrummed with a need I could not quench. Not with Damian. But I could do something to alleviate this craving.

I unzipped my jeans and slid my hand inside them, inside my panties, until my palm rested over my mound.

My mind conjured a vision of Damian naked, sweat drizzling down his skin.

I pushed my longest finger between my folds, into the hot slickness there, and began to brush that finger up and down in an easy rhythm. While I fantasized about Damian's muscles and imagined his body positioned over me, his hips thrusting, I slid another finger down there to rub myself harder and faster. God, I was getting wetter. Every time I pictured Damian on top of me, I got so hot I could barely breathe. Panting, gasping, I worked myself into a need so intense I thought I'd go insane if I didn't come soon.

Another vision flared in my mind, of Damian kissing me.

My back bowed into the mattress, my head snapped forward, and every muscle in my body went rigid—except my fingers. I couldn't breathe, but I couldn't stop rubbing and rubbing until the climax overtook me. My mind wouldn't let me stop picturing Damian thrusting into me, and I came so hard I would've cried out if I'd had any breath left. My free hand fisted in the blanket. I kept scraping my fingers over my clit until the last wave of my orgasm faded.

Wow. I hadn't experienced a climax like that in… I wasn't sure I'd ever come that hard before.

And Damian hadn't even touched me yet.

I would keep quenching my lust the solo way. It was the safest sex. Getting involved with Damian would only lead to more humiliation and heartbreak.

Chapter Eight

Damian

I stood outside the door to Heidi's room with my fist raised like I was about to knock. I had been about to do that, but I stopped when I heard strange noises coming from inside her room. After about two seconds of listening, I'd realized what those noises were.

Heidi was masturbating.

Really enjoying it, by the sound of things. All her gasps and groans made me want to barge in there and take over for her fingers or her vibrator, whatever she was using to get off. The bed creaked faintly, which made me picture that bed thumping and creaking like crazy while I fucked her.

Just when my brain decided to divert all the blood in my body to my cock, the noises stopped. I could still barge in and—

No, I wouldn't be that kind of asshole. I might've been a bit of an ass sometimes, but I wasn't a complete jerk. Still, I couldn't decide whether to knock or leave and pretend I hadn't heard anything. If I knocked now, it might've been obvious I'd been hovering outside her door. Plus, I had an erection, so she'd notice that for sure.

I'd come here to invite Heidi to the picnic Eve and Val had organized for the guests. Some people preferred to eat lunch in the dining hall, but others loved the idea of eating alfresco in the most natural way imaginable.

Well, now that I'd been standing here like a moron for several minutes, I supposed Heidi wouldn't know I'd overheard her. So I knocked, then held my linked hands in front of my groin, casually, like I was doing that for no reason.

The door opened, and Heidi's eyes went wide. "Damian? What are you doing here?"

She sounded slightly panicked. Oh great, had she somehow guessed I must have heard all those hot noises she made? Her gaze flicked down to my groin, and her eyes flared wider for a heartbeat. Then she looked at my face, though not my eyes. She seemed to be staring at my nose.

"Eve and Val organized a picnic for lunch," I told her. "Wanna come? We're going to the lake."
