CHAPTER EIGHT

OMARLEANEDFORWARD, backing her against the stable wall, one arm moving to brace himself against the wood, his tongue parting her lips to deepen the kiss. It was as if he had lit a fuse, and she felt a tingling heat sear through her straight to her belly.

She moaned as his lips moved across hers, teeth catching her lower lip, and then he tipped back her head and he was kissing her neck, his mouth pressing against the pulse beating wildly beneath her ear.

Shivering inside, she arched against him, her nipples hardening as they brushed against his smooth bare skin, and she shuddered at the sensation, nerves, need, anticipation swamping her.

His fingers had found the zip of her dress and he was working it down her back, pushing the fabric away from her shoulders. A shiver of anticipation rippled over her skin as it fluttered to the floor, but Omar did nothing. He just gazed down at her simple white underwear, breathing deeply, a dark flush fanning across his beautiful cheekbones.

Everything about him was beautiful, she thought, her head spinning as she looked up at him. He murmured some words in Arabic, a language she could neither speak nor understand. But she didn’t need to do either to know what he was saying. His eyes made it clear, and she felt heat flood her limbs as his dark gaze slid down her body.

Her eyes never leaving his face, she slowly toed off her boots, then reached behind her back to undo her bra, letting it, too, slip to the floor. Heart thudding, she touched his chest. His skin was incredibly warm. She could feel his heart beating beneath her fingertips, and lower down it was as if his hand was already stroking her belly...smoothing her hips. Cupping the slick heat between her thighs.

She shivered, her breasts aching, body tense. Damp. Yes, she thought.

And then her breath caught as he reached for her, scooping her into his arms and carrying her into the empty stall. He kicked the door closed behind them and set her down firmly on a pile of hay.

Dragging in a breath, she pulled him to his knees—not gently. She wanted him...wanted to be completely his—physically, at least—and she clasped his face, kissing him fiercely, her hands reaching for the button of his jeans.

As her fingers slid beneath the waistband Omar groaned against her mouth, and then he was batting her hands away and holding her still, a storm of passion in his dark eyes.

‘Are you sure this is what you want?’

His voice was hoarse, as if the sand had chafed his throat, and she could feel the effort it was taking him to hold back.

‘I’ve never been surer of anything.’

She pressed her hand against the hard outline of his erection and that was all it took to accelerate him. He slid his hands beneath her panties, drawing them down her thighs and lowering his weight against her. His mouth found hers. His lips and tongue were urgent, his body hot and hard, his hands cupping her breasts, stroking, shaping them.

Heat was lapping over her body like waves curling onto the shore’s edge and hollowing out the sand, and she sucked in a sharp breath as his mouth closed over one taut nipple, licking, nipping, teasing the swollen tip, before switching to the other.

Curling her arms around his neck, she pressed up against him, her body so sensitive now that she wanted to tear off her own skin.

He made a rough sound in his throat, and she felt his palm slide over her abdomen to brush the wet curls at the V between her thighs. Then he parted her legs and she jerked, body twitching, as his fingers flexed inside her, then stilled. Helplessly, she lifted her body, wanting more, wanting the ache pounding through her to be answered.

‘Omar...’

She whimpered his name, the muscles inside her clenching with frustration, and then his callused thumb began moving in slow circles that made her tremble inside. Moaning softly, she moved her hand to his groin, and she felt him tense as she pulled him free of his trousers, her fingers curling unsteadily around him. She had forgotten what it felt like to hold that length of smooth, polished flesh in her hand. The power and the thickness of him.

He grunted and jerked backwards. ‘Wait,’ he commanded.

She watched him strip off his remaining clothes, and then he was lowering himself down onto her body, lifting the hair from her neck to kiss and suck her throat. Heart hammering, she raised her hips and stroked the blunt head of his erection against her clitoris, moving it back and forth.

Omar gripped her hand, his ragged breathing vibrating against her skin. ‘I don’t have protection.’

She felt a momentary flicker of indecision. But she wanted him, without barriers of any sort, and so, shaking with need, she pulled him closer, cupping him in her hand. She felt his body tense and his control snap, and he gripped her hips and pushed inside her.

A moan of pleasure escaped her lips. The waves inside her were getting bigger, sucking her back further. This was what she wanted. He was what she wanted. Her fingers bit into his shoulders as he began to move against her, thrusting deeper, then withdrawing to thrust again more deeply still. The waves were moving faster and faster, feeling hotter, so that she was panting now. And just when she thought she couldn’t take any more those waves crashed over her, embracing her, and her back curved upwards, her body gripping his tightly.

As she shuddered against him, she felt his lips brush against hers and he groaned out her name and thrust upwards, surging inside her.

They lay together, panting shakily, their bodies hot and damp with sweat, muscles twitching.

Outside, the storm raged on. Not that she noticed. Lost in the white heat of their passion, there was only her and Omar. Truthfully, the haboob could have peeled off the barn roof like the lid of a sardine tin and neither of them would have noticed.

She felt Omar shift his weight and then he rolled sideways, taking her with him, still inside her. Still hard.

Her heart skipped a beat. Her body felt wonderful, as if all the tension of the last few days had been ironed out of her, but her head was spinning. What had she been thinking? Having sex without protection was not just stupid but reckless.
