And you guessed it, we ate, had sex, ate again, and repeated until we fell asleep in the middle of the night.
When you were that riled up to commit bad acts against the person who had harmed you, it was impossible to get any rest.
The small amount I did get was mainly out of sheer physical exhaustion.
There were only so many times I could orgasm before my body finally gave up. The spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak, as they say.
But I didn’t mind being weak for my Kings.
It gave me time to grow stronger for murder and revenge.

I was soramped up in the morning my hands were shaking. I’m not even exaggerating. I was trembling as I did up the fine hand-carved shell buttons on my pretty white shirt.
“Do you need help with those, Evie?” Kingston asked when he noticed me having trouble.
“Yeah, I might,” I said with a blush on my cheeks. “I’ve never been this nervous about going after somebody before. I feel like there’s more on the line here, though.”
“You mean with Ivan and Amara?” he asked, buttoning each one carefully for me. I loved his face when he was doing it, his full lips were pursed together in concentration, and he was growing as he worked.
“Also, with me,” I said. “Even more than with The Organization, I want him to hurt so bad. I want revenge for the things that happened.”
I couldn’t help it, I felt a darkness flicker across my face, and Kingston noticed it immediately. We were alone in the bedroom, and the guys were out in the kitchen finishing breakfast. Like I said, sex and food, they ruled our lives.
“Is there anything you want to tell me about that?” he asked quietly. He finished the last button, the one all the way up my neck on the high collar. He hooked his finger under my chin and tilted my face up to meet him. “I feel like you haven’t shared everything that went on, and I feel like it’s eating you up inside.”
“I don’t know,” I said, and I wanted to say something, but I couldn’t. I wasn’t about to let my darkest secret into the light because it was going to destroy the way my Kings saw me. “I don’t think anything is bothering me at this point. Well, maybe the fact that I haven’t had a chance to beat the shit out of him.”
“There she is, my fierce little queen,” Kingston smiled. But he wasn’t convinced. I knew that he could sense the discomfort in my voice, and he picked up on the subtle body language that told him I was walking on a razor’s edge. One misstep would plunge me into hell. “But I’m serious. If you need to tell us anything, please tell us. Keeping it all stuck inside is how you get sick, and the longer one of us carries a secret, the weaker it makes our relationship.”
I nodded and let him put his arms around me. The secret I was choking back kept wanting to bubble up and burst from my throat. It wanted to run roughshod over my tongue and reveal itself to my Kingston, my first love.
I swallowed it down, jagged and painful until it hit my stomach, and I could pretend it didn’t exist once again. I could fake that I was okay the same way I faked that orgasm with the gun to my head. Thoughts kept intruding against my will.
Cheater.
You didn’t fight back.
Your own sister.
I suppressed a shudder and focused instead on making Maksim pay. Getting him into the SUV, tying him up, and using him as leverage in my own twisted schemes.
They’d never know what hit them because nobody ever expected anything from me until it was too late. I couldn’t wait to see the shock in Maksim’s eyes when he realized what I’d done.
“Okay, let’s go, gang!” Ryker said when we walked out. We were dressed to the nines even though we weren’t going to the racetrack. We had reserved the SUV that was attached to Ivan’s suite, and it would be waiting for us when we went downstairs.
The plan was to drive to a block away from Maksim’s hotel in Pardubice, near the race track, then wait for his SUV. We’d take over, knock him out, tie him up and toss him in the back. After that, we’d leave the car again and let Archer drive the SUV to pick Maksim up in front of his hotel.
A few blocks later, at a stop sign that we mapped out, we would flood the SUV and snatch Maksim right off the street.
After that, it was back to Prague, where we’d rented the top floor of an empty business block in a new industrial area just out of the city. It was private, easy to clean, and he could make noise without any neighbors listening in.
It was a good plan, it was solid, and I was excited to get started.
The first part went off without a hitch. The driver was surprised, but it was almost like he’d experienced it before. He sighed deeply, started off on a rant in Czech, then switched immediately to English when he saw us all staring at him, Kingston with a knife to his throat and Ryker behind with his arm twisted tightly in a painful way.
“What the fuck do you want?” the driver asked with a sigh. “Money? I don’t carry any on me. And you can’t take the car, you know. It’s got tracking devices all over the fucking thing, and you won’t make it three blocks before they come for you.”
