No fucking way.
Asshole couldn’t be that fucking stupid.
Massacre gasped. “Is that…”
“A dead man walking,” Player finished, punching his palm with his fist.
Seething, I muttered, “My day just got a hell of a lot better.”
“Who the fuck is that beside him?” Ghost asked, getting to his feet as our attention shifted to the man next to my prey. The man looked at home as he leaned against his car watching the compound intently right outside the main gate as he pointed a gun at my prey’s head.
“That is the Guardian.”
“Shit!” Ghost cursed, running from the room. I had no clue who the Guardian was but whoever it was, had Ghost worried. Not that I didn’t care, because I did but I really didn’t give a shit about the guy who worried Ghost and Phantom. No. I wanted the other fucker. The one, on his knees crying like a little bitch. When I got my hands on him, I’d make him cry and more.
I was going to have so much fun watching him bleed.
Leaving Phantom’s office, Massacre, Player and I walked towards the front doors as Ghost walked down the stairs with Reaper behind him. The Prez pulled a shirt over his head as he asked, “Is she sure?”
“She wouldn’t fuck with us about this,” Ghost replied, checking his weapons.
“Where is she?”
“In her office.”
“Okay,” Reaper said, checking his guns. “I will handle this.”
“What’s going on?” Player asked.
Reaper ignored Player and looked at me, “You will let me handle this, Savage. I mean it. I know you want that mother fucker. We all do but this other fucker is no joke. I need you to trust me on this.”
“I want that bastard, Reaper. He isn’t leaving alive.”
“I understand and I will make sure you get your revenge but I need you to stand down until I take care of something.”
“More secrets?” I countered angrily.
“Not my secret to tell. I will bring everyone up to speed as soon as I know what this fucker wants.”
“Whatever,” I said, reaching for my guns and walking out into the bright sunshine. There was no way in hell I was letting that slimy fucker escape me. I made a promise and I was damn well going to keep it. This mother fucker plagued my dreams and him showing up out of the blue was his fucking mistake. There was no safe harbor for him here. He sealed his fate the second he pulled the trigger.
Marching over to the dead soul on his knees, crying like a little bitch, I pointed my gun at his head and said, “Welcome home, Acid.”
The skinny fucker didn’t look at me as he cowered before me, scooting closer to the other man who held a gun to his head. I didn’t know who this man was, nor did I care. He was alright in my book and I planned on having a beer with him once I finished off Acid.
“I believe you’ve been looking for this,” the stranger said, kicking Acid in the back, making him fall at my feet.
“Yes, I have.” I cocked my gun while Acid pissed his pants.
“Savage,” Reaper growled, coming to stand beside me.
“And you must be Reaper.”
“What are you doing here?” Reaper said, pointing his gun at the stranger. I didn’t need to look around to know that Ghost, Massacre and Player surrounded Reaper, aiming their guns at the strange man. I would have been too but my focus was on the fucker on the ground.
The man smirked.
Reaper aimed his gun at the man’s head. “I won’t ask you again.”
