“Proof?”
“Printing a file as we speak. It’s extensive, but it’s all there.”
“Can your source find these other men?”
“He’s looking, but so far, he hasn’t been able to.”
“Who are they?”
“Vicious, Gator, Biskit, and Sheik.”
Nodding, I looked at Ghost and smiled. “Thank fuck Vicious isn’t one of them. I’d hate to take on that big fucker. Have you tried calling him?”
“No.”
“Do it now and put it on speaker. You control the call.”
Nodding, Ghost took out his cell, placed it on the table, and dialed Vicious. It only rang once before the bull of a man answered. “Who the fuck is this?”
“Vicious, it’s Ghost.”
“Yeah, right. That fucker owes me money. He knows better than to call.”
“I don’t owe you shit, you fucking big ass German.”
“Ghost?”
“Yeah.”
“Holy fuck. Where the hell have you been? I’ve been trying to get ahold of you. Shit is going down here, man, and it’s fucking bad.”
“I know. That’s why I’m calling. Why haven’t you called Reaper?”
“I have. Many times. His phone just rings. No voice mail, nothing. I’ve tried calling the other brothers, too, the same thing. It’s like you fuckers just dropped off the face of the fucking earth. What the fuck is going on up there?”
Ghost looked at me as I shook my head. Reaching into my cut, I grabbed my phone and passed it to Phantom, who immediately hooked it up to her laptop and did her techie thing. Didn’t want to know what she was looking for, didn’t care.
“How long as the chapter been trafficking, Vicious?”
“For about a year now. I tried telling our Prez that’s not what the Golden Skulls are about, but that motherfucker didn’t care. All he saw were the dollar signs. When a few of us tried to stop him, he killed two brothers. The rest of us barely escaped. We’ve been hiding ever since.”
“Where are you?”
“At Biskit’s mom’s house across the state line in Mississippi. We didn’t know where else to go.”
“Your phone has an interrupter on it. I’m disabling it now,” Phantom said, typing away furiously. “That’s why you haven’t received any calls from them. I will need to check all the other phones, too, including the personal cells of the members.”
“Look Vicious. I’m going to need you and the others to get your asses back to Louisiana. We need eyes there. Eyes we can trust.”
“Sure thing. We can leave within the hour.”
“When you get there, a man by the name of Gadget will meet up with you at the Sunrise Motel, just north of town. He will have rooms ready. He will also be asking questions. Answer them as best you can and be truthful. He will know if you’re lying.” Phantom said, handing my phone back to me. “It’s good to go.”
“Who the fuck is there?” Vicious asked. “I don’t take orders from bitches.”
“You will do as she said,” I sternly said, letting my voice be heard.
“Reaper?”
