His hands moved up and for a moment, my mind begged him to squeeze my breasts. But instead, he found my shoulders and pinned me deeper into the cushions. His cock touched me in a spot that I didn’t think it could touch as he drilled deep inside of me.
I squeezed around him again, my entire body shuddering as I sobbed his name.
Please.I begged him through tears of pleasure.Please. Take me. Use me. Make me yours.
“Leda,” Lucas groaned. I knew what was coming. I pulled him down into a kiss, wrapping my legs around him so he could not back away, and squeezed as he filled me with his seed.
Chapter
Leda
What the heck did we just do? It felt different, just like last night did. Lucas was no longer trying to teach me a lesson, and I was afraid of what he was actually doing to me.
This wasn’t the beginning of a relationship for us. This couldn’t be the beginning of a relationship. I had to remember that. Lucas wasn’t some dark avenging savior that was going to take me away so that my father never found me. He was the one who stole me. The one who I was supposed to be saved from.
“Fuck,” Lucas muttered, catching my attention.
He was staring down at me, his jaw clenched, but there was something in his eyes that sent my pulse racing.
“That was,” I panted. “Something.”
His grin was quick, and he started to pull out of me carefully. “Yeah, it was.”
My chest tightened at his soft words, almost like he was happy. I had done that to him. I made him lose control. And dammit, I enjoyed it far too much.
Lucas closed his pants and then reached for me, helping me to my feet. “I think I could go for a shower,” he replied, tucking my hair behind my ear. “And some food.”
I looked down at my clothes on the deck, and laughed. “I think I might need some new clothes.”
His eyes followed mine and he leaned down, snatching the scrap of lacey underwear off the deck and shoving it into his pocket. “I want to take you into the city,” he said as I tried to pull my jeans at least to my waist.
I fastened my jeans before looking at him, not sure what to say. At least on the yacht I could pretend that he wasn’t who he was, and I wasn’t the woman he had all but kidnapped.
But in New York?
In New York, we could run into a number of people who would think otherwise. Surely he knew that? He was a Don and I, well, I was Carmine’s daughter. Was he doing this to flaunt it in my father’s face or for another reason?
“I know what you are thinking,” he said. “But I just want to take you to dinner.”
Lucas sounded so sincere that my soul caved just a bit. He was going to be the death of me; I knew it. This wasn’t how this was supposed to be panning out, yet Lucas was making me think of things we would never have, like a relationship or anything more meaningful between us.
I was going to lose my heart to him if I wasn’t careful.
“All right,” I replied, watching as his eyes lit up. “First, we’ll shower.”
Lucas held out his strong hand, and I took it, feeling the gentle squeeze that told me he was pleased with my decision.
Chapter 41
Lucas
I waited at the Battery docks for Leda, watching as people came and went from their own small boats. The night was early, and while I would have preferred to stay on the yacht with Leda, repeating what we just did again and again, I wanted to take her into the city.
Hell, I wanted to show her off, but not for the reasons she thought.
I didn’t give a shit whether or not her father heard about our little trip or if anyone else saw us together. I wanted to keep that smile on Leda’s face, to not make her constantly worried that I was going to turn on her and send her back to her father or someone worse.
Blowing out a breath, I realized that I was falling for her. That was it, wasn’t it? It fucking terrified me to think of it that way, but to think anything else would be lying.
