“What bait?” I looked to Hail.
He shrugged. “Left a kings’ calling card.”
“Why don’t I know about any of this shit?”
Hail lifted his brows at me. “It’s a bit beneath you, Vasiliev. It’s just bullshit for the disciples.”
“But I always knew about the little shit the disciples were doing. I want to know why I’m being left out.”
“You’re not. I just didn’t figure you were interested in the distraction since you kept running off to get pussy whenever we got together.”
“You let me go,” I snapped back at him. “If shit’s going down, I want to know about it. I don’t like finding out randomly or being in the dark.”
“Fair enough.” Hail nodded. “I’ll keep it in mind for next time.”
I blew out a breath and grunted. “What’s the deal with Bianca and the horsemen’s girl? What are we doing about that?”
“I’m fucking taking them and fucking them in front of you,” Tate piped up, glaring at me. “That’s the plan.”
I turned to Hail, who shrugged. “It’s a free-for-all. Whoever gets them, gets to fuck them.”
“Not talking about this.” Drake stood up and grabbed his bag. “I’m out. I’ve gotta go kiss Celeste’s ass anyway.”
And with those sweet words, he left us.
Hail glanced between me and Tate, a wicked, little smirk on his face. “You boys sure want that king pussy, don’t you?”
I scowled and looked away.
“Speaking of king pussy, here they come,” Hail said.
I looked to where he was staring and caught sight of Dom walking with his arm around Bianca’s waist. Levin was next to her, and Vincent was on Dom’s other side.
My chest ached to rush to them and demand that they fucking listen to me, but I knew it wouldn’t work. It would probably only end with Dom actually shooting me this time. When I’d left after shit went down, Levin had escorted me out. I figured he’d beat my ass, but he’d surprised me by being reasonable.
“We don’t know what the fuck is going on. That’s it. It’s really that simple. You’ve saved my life. You’ve saved bumblebee’s. You know how dangerous this world is. Once we know for sure, shit will be cool,” Levin said.
“And if it’s not?”
We’d stopped just down the hall.
He shrugged. “Then I don’t have to deal with your shit anymore, you Russian twat nose.”
He’d strode away from me without looking back.
I sighed. My gaze locked on Bianca as she strolled with her head down.
“Where are you going?” Hail called out to Tate as he got to his feet.
He shot us a wicked, mischievous grin. “To stir the pot. It’s three on four.”
“Motherfucker, Bianca whooped your ass,” Hail reminded him. “Or don’t you remember that?”
Tate’s cheeks darkened, but it didn’t stop him.
Typically, I hated these confrontations, but today, I actually wanted to get a good hit in on Dom.
I got to my feet, and Hail looked up at me in surprise.
