Vincent and Levin glanced at one another before Vin made the call.
I pulled my phone out and dialed Enzo.
“Dominic,” his smooth voice came over the line. A girl laughed in the background, and I heard Fox’s voice.
“The lords have her,” I said softly into the phone.
He was quiet for a moment. “You’re sure?”
“Fallon. He-He raped her.”
Enzo grew quiet again. I heard a door close in the background and the sound of laughter and voices faded away.
“Where is he?” he asked.
“I don’t know. I got a text from an anonymous number about demanding a ransom for her. There was a live video link of the lords with her and Fallon climbing on her. I couldn’t see the lords, but I recognized Fallon’s tattoo.” I licked my lips, my hands shaking. “She’s hurt. Badly. I-I don’t know if she will make it.” My voice strained as I managed to get the words out.
Enzo swore softly. “What do you need us to do?”
“We have to find the lords. They’re in a windowless room. That’s all I fucking know.”
“We’ll meet you. Say where.”
“I have a safe house. It’s about ten miles outside of town.” I rattled off directions to him. “We need to do it fast. She’s hurting.”
“Deep breaths. We’ll see you soon. Don’t do anything fucking stupid. Get in the car and go straight there. We’ll take care of these fuckers. OK?”
I swallowed hard. “I’ll see you soon.”
I ended the call and let out a deep breath.
I’m coming, mia regina. I’m coming, baby.
“Let’s go,” I called out to Vin and Levin. “We have some fucking lords to kill.”
CHAPTER46
Fallon
Iwatched from the back of my car with Bianca in my arms as Drake knocked on the door to a house in the middle of no-fucking-where. It was like we’d stepped into Dom’s safe house property again.
Dusk had fallen, giving the place an eerie vibe. As far as houses went, this one was nice. Wraparound deck. Log. Desolate.
No one would find this place. A small town lay nestled at the bottom of the hill. I doubt anyone knew there was a house buried out here in the dense forest.
Better be a fucking doctor living here.
The door opened and a dark head poked out. I watched as Drake spoke to whoever it was. They appeared to be in a heated conversation before the man finally walked back inside.
Drake returned to the car and opened the back door.
“Come on,” he instructed.
“Who is he?” I wasn’t about to take my girl into some lunatic’s place, especially if they were associated with the lords.
“A friend,” he answered, sighing.
“He’s not a friend I know,” I shot back.
