FANG 8

“Sabre says that the women ran into the woods to hide,” I hear Goliath call out, which has me racing out of the bedroom and down the corridor until I am out of the club and running into the woods.

“Siena!” Blue shouts as he runs past me into the woods. Goliath and Hawk are now also making their way into the woods, but much slower because they are tracking. Lifting my head, I take in the smells around me, scowling as the foul scent of the Hades MC clearly permeates the air.

I make my way further into the woods, and then stop when a slight fragrance of my woman is evident. She was here! Following my instinct and the scent that becomes stronger as I approach a boulder. I tense when I see the footprints on the ground before the boulder where she was clearly hiding.

The fuckers have her! A sliver of hope had rushed through me when I heard Goliath say that the woman ran into the woods, but now it feels like everything has come crashing down around me. I know what the Hades do with women that they kidnap, I know what sick fucks they are.

I can’t let Myst be a part of the horror that they dish out. I promised her that she was safe, and I let her down. Turning, I run out of the woods. I’m going to ride into those fuckers’ club, and I’m going to kill every single one of them.

I’m about to throw my leg over my Harley when I’m suddenly thrown off my feet as a body plunges into my side. “Where the fuck do you think you are going?” King’s quiet words next to my ear alerts me to his rage, but I don’t give a fuck.

“They have Myst!” I growl as I throw him off me, turning to glare at him as he stands. “I’m going to get her before they hurt her.”

“You think going in there and getting yourself killed is going to help her?” King roars in anger. “We’re all going to go and get your woman, but first we make sure we are prepared, and don’t go in there with our dicks in our hands, waiting for them to cut them off.”

“You know what they do to women. I’m not going to wait around for them to hurt Myst,” I shout.

“They have Onyx!” Hawk growls as he comes through the main door of the club towards his bike.

“Enough!” King suddenly roars as Hawk sits on his bike. “We need ammunition, and we need to know who all they have taken.” Fuck, I am in such a rage that I completely forgot about getting more ammunition. “Get your fucking heads out of your ass and think, or instead of helping your women you are just going to get yourselves killed and them too if you don’t manage to free them.”

“Dakota, Alaska, and Siena are fine, but I can’t find Sam,” Goliath says as he walks towards us.

“Sam wasn’t here. I sent her into a clinic to sort out her shit,” King grunts. “How’s Hunter?”

“He’s alive,” Frost replies as he walks towards us with a haversack in his hand that he drops before King. “Ammunition,” He states.

“Reload,” King orders. “They will be waiting for us, so make sure you use your fucking heads and not your dicks.” His eyes snap to me and then to Hawk. “Frost, I want you to make sure you keep Fang alive. Goliath, you’re on Hawk.”

“I’m not a fucking child,” I growl angrily, taking the ammunition I need from the haversack.

“Good,” King replies with a scowl, a tick by his jaw is evident of his explosive anger. “Now let’s ride. Cobalt, you’re with us.” The prospect nods.

We can’t all go after everything that happened. With Gunner gone and Hunter injured, Blue and Dash will have to stay behind to make sure that there are no Hades’ men hiding around the clubhouse. The rest of us seem to be riding.

Taking in a deep breath, I start my Harley. I know that King is right, but the anger coursing through my body is like a volcano on the brink of exploding. If I already didn’t know how sick the fuckers are, I might not be so hell bent on getting to Myst as quickly as I can.

After her sacrifice on getting to me, I need to make sure that it wasn’t in vain. It won’t be fair if we don’t have a chance at our happiness, all because of the sick fucks who want revenge for something that wasn’t our fault.

The ride to their club is a blur. The next thing I know, I’m pulling up a mile away. “We go from here on foot,” King calls as we park our Harleys out of the way. I would rather be shifting to my wolf and heading in there to rip their heads off, but I need to keep my wits about me. My wolf can’t do anything if some asshole decides to shoot at me.

I take off running. I can hear the others behind me, and it lets me know that they will be close behind. But I’m unable to stop this feeling of urgency, that if I don’t hurry, it will be too late. I can see the wall that surrounds their property when I notice an axe laying against a tree. Someone must have been out here cutting wood and forgotten it. Picking it up, I grunt. I might need this. Even though I would rather pull the fuckers’ heads off their bodies with my bare hands, I want them to feel the fear that the women clearly felt when they were attacked. When they see me coming towards them with a fucking axe, they will pee themselves.

Just as I get to the wall and am about to bolt over it, Frost places a hand on my shoulder, stopping me. “Cameras,” he says as he inclines his head towards where the camera is. Even though I don’t give a shit if they know that we’re attacking, I would rather leave it until the last minute before they know.

“This way!” he says, walking further down the path and then suddenly disappearing around a hedge. Following, I see him by the wall. “Here,” he says, before bolting over the wall. Frost isn’t much for words, but at this moment, I wish he would have told me how he knew that this was a vulnerable spot on their security.

When I’m on the other side of the wall, I see that we are next to the main building. Loud music is coming from inside and the smell of weed is heavy in the air. Assholes, they attack us and think that we will just sit back and lick our wounds. They are here celebrating, but soon they will be dead.

“Let’s try to find where they are holding the women before we charge in there and attack them,” Frost says as he looks around the corner of the building just as we hear a shot.

“Guess it’s too late for that,” I mutter as I look up at the first floor of the building. “Can you smell that?” I ask, frowning.

“Gunner!” we both say simultaneously.

“He’s close,” Frost states as he looks up. “If we jump onto that balcony we can go from there.” Nodding, I jump, grabbing onto the railing with one hand as I slide the axe through the arm-width metal railings, placing it on the floor of the balcony before pulling myself over with both hands.
