“Hi, Siena,” Goliath greets.
“Tired of this one yet?” Fang asks.
“Hi, guys,” Siena says with a smile which makes me glare at them.
Maybe this is a bad idea. I know my brothers would never make a move on my woman, but the temptation is also there for her. She was running away from me or she wouldn’t have come to stay with her friend instead of going home, knowing that I would go there to see her. “Would you like coffee?”
“That would be great,” Goliath says as he places his hand on my shoulder
“Go on in. Taffy will love her visitors,” Siena invites as she inclines her head towards the door. The men step around us as they make their way inside the house.
“Do you want to come to the show tonight?” I would rather she be with me throughout the day, but I know that I will be busy, and to leave her unprotected would not work for me.
“And see all your fans dribbling all over you?” She frowns, her hands fisting. “No thank you.”
Lifting my hand, I stroke her cheek. “There will be no fans dribbling over me, you are the only woman in my life, and that is how it’s going to stay.” I see her look of suspiciousness, but she will see with time that what I say is true. Today is going to be one hell of a long day.
Kissing her once more before I leave, I make my way to the stadium where the show is going to be held tonight. The last thing I want to do today is play for thousands of people. I find that the only person I want to sing to is my woman now. I have always run to my music when things get tough, but now it seems like all I want to do is run towards Siena. Last night, just being close to her after the day of turmoil I had, worrying about what was on her mind, had me calming the minute I saw her.
I don’t like the fact that Siena was hiding from me. I also don’t like the feeling that she may be keeping secrets from me. I have become suspicious throughout my career. It’s difficult living the life that I live and not be suspicious of everyone. King had sent me all the info they acquired on my woman, and even though I had already found her, I still went through everything, just to get to know more about her.
There was nothing in there that triggered any distrust. But I still get the feeling that she’s hiding something, and I don’t fucking like it.
“He’s alive,” Joel says as I walk into the changing room. “Where have you been, Dude? Jim has been climbing the walls.”
“I’ve been busy,” I mutter as I walk towards where my guitar has been placed.
“Well, be ready because he’s on a war path,” Kevin states just as the door opens and Jim walks in.
“Finally! Where the hell have you been?” I raise my brow at his tone.
“I’m here now, that’s all that matters.”
Jim throws up his hands, his face red with anger. “Is this about that skank you were with?”
One minute I’m standing by my guitar, and the next I have my hand around his neck and him up against the wall.
“Wha… what?”
“You never speak about my woman like that. Actually, you never mention my woman again. I warned you yesterday, I won’t warn you again!”
Jim places his hands on my arm, trying to push it away from his neck.
“Blue, let him go, dude,” Jake says as he places his hand on my shoulder, tugging at me. Grunting, I step back, letting Jim drop to the ground.
“Don’t mention Siena ever again.” I can hear the anger in my voice. I can feel it still vibrating through my body over his stupid words. I will not have anyone disrespect my Ol’ Lady.
“Fine, if you want to mess up this tour because of a woman, be my guest,” he argues gruffly as he rubs at his neck.
“Is this the Siena that won that competition?” Kevin asks.
“Yeah.”
“Nice, I like her.” Kevin slaps me on the back as he moves back to what he was doing. Only now do I realize that the three of them were standing behind me, ready to pull me away from Jim if need be.
“Is she coming to the show tonight?” Jake asks as he picks up a bottle of water from the table near the wall.
“No. Her and her sister are at the hotel spa. They are spending the day together.” I don’t want to get into a conversation about my woman, but my band members will need to know that I have one now and who she is. Hearing the door open, I glance over my shoulder just in time to see Jim leaving as he slams the door behind him.
