“I don’t believe it.” Thea’s voice takes on a taunting tone.
“What?” When I turn back around she crosses her arms over her chest, her soft, full cleavage on full display.
“Youcansmile.” She tilts her head at me and my entire body betrays me. There’s no use denying it. Even with my shitty past. Even with the horrible consequences that came with my foolish choices. I’m not going to be able to resist Thea, and dammit with her here for what looks to be the entire night, I give up. I want Thea Harmon to be mine, and now I just have to show her.

Thea
Outside the window, all I can see is pure white. Nearly two hours have passed and the snow hasn’t let up. I can’t stop chastising myself for not checking the freaking weather before I left. I would’ve rescheduled the shoot and had a nice, quiet snow night with a book and a cup of hot chocolate.
I peer over my shoulder at Dorian, bent over stoking the fire. For a man of his size, he has an ass that’s out of this world. Round and muscular, not flat at all, the kind of butt you want to sink your teeth into. I bite the side of my cheek, noticing how tapered his waist is compared to those brawny shoulders of his. Seriously, this man reminds me of The Incredible Hulk. Hopefully his temperament is a little better, though. I am, after all, stuck with him.
His eyes meet mine and I turn my head a second before I’m caught gazing at his ass. The only thing more conspicuous would be if I whistled while rolling my eyes across the ceiling. Oops.
“Are you still cold?” He asks, rising to his feet.
“No,” I lie. “I’m good.” Truth is I’m always cold, but it’s not the temperature that’s causing my case of the shivers. It’s being trapped in this cabin with a man as big and sexy as Dorian Strong.
“I feel like you might be lying.” His gruff voice holds a tender edge that surprises me. “Here, come and sit by the fire.”
“I’m okay, really.”
“What you are is stubborn as hell.” He rests his hands on his hips. “If you stand by the window all night, you’ll never get warm. I’m sure you’re not crazy about being stuck here, but you might as well get comfortable. I’m not sure you’ll be getting out of here tonight.”
One final glance outside the window shows that he’s probably right. The last rays of weak, overcast light have nearly dissipated. I head to the sofa, and Dorian hands me a blanket. As if that could make me comfortable. Just being in Dorian’s presence makes my body tingle in a way I’m not used to.
“So,” I say, cozied up as much as possible on his surprisingly plush sofa. “Do you have any board games or cards? Anything to pass the time?”
“There are other things to do besides playing board games.”
Oh yes there are, but I don’t want to think about them. My panties are already so wet that they’re stuck to me. “Like what?”
“Well.” He pulls his chair closer to the coffee table, and rests his elbow on his knees. His eyes dart straight through me, and for a moment I’m terrified of what he’ll say next. “Tell me about you.”
A tiny laugh escapes my mouth. “There’s not much to say.”
“Come on, Thea.” He licks his full lips. “Everyone has a story.”
“Listen, I’m usually the one doing the interview.” I scrunch my nose, shaking my head. “When someone does it to me it feels too…”
“Invasive?”
I narrow my eyes. “It’s my job.”
“Great.” He takes a long inhale through his nostrils. “Now it’s my job.” He clears his throat and I watch his Adam’s apple bob up and down in his throat. “Where are you from?”
“Vernon.”
“Oh, my brother has a store there.”
In my business, when things get sticky we are taught to turn the conversation back to the subject. “So, you’ve been there?”
“No. I don’t get out much.”
“I can see why. This place is smaller than I expected, but it’s beautiful.”
Dorian flushes at the compliment. I find it irresistible. “Why are you all the way out here by yourself? You’re not married? Girlfriend?”
