I moan, "Torren." I blink and his lips are on mine. He pulls me from the tub, dripping water everywhere. I wrap my legs around his waist, deepening the kiss. He turns us, slamming my back into the back of the door.
"I want you so bad right now, sweetheart, if we don't stop now, I won't be able to stop."
"You had better fucking stop Torren!" Derrin's voice is like a bucket of ice water over my libido. Slowly, Torren lowers me until my feet hit the cold tiles. Without a word he wraps a towel around me then opens the door, slipping out quickly.
The dull thud of flesh hitting flesh has me scrambling to the door. What greets me on the other side has my heart pounding for a different reason. Derrin and Torren circle one another, both look like they are ready to kill. I gasp as Derrin swings his left, hitting Torren a glancing blow on the side of his jaw, blood sprouts on his lips.
"Torren!" I yell. "Derrin stop this!"
"What the fuck is going on in here?" Richard's yelling has more effect than mine.
Both Torren and Derrin stop, their hands around each other’s throats.
"I'll deal with you two later. Now get out!" The second they are out of the door; Richard turns back to face me.
"I... Torren came into the bathroom while I was in the bath, I fed from Torren, then he... he kissed me." I confess trying to keep to their rules, despite not knowing all of them.
"What the fuck were you thinking Areyna Rose?" Richard shouts, his voice comes out like he's just swallowed half a bottle of rum straight.
I gulp and open my mouth to speak. How was it my fault?
Richard turns his back on me, my chest tightens. "Don't even bother, I don't want to hear your excuses. You're playing with fire; don't you see that?"
My eyes well up and I hang my head, I shouldn't have told him what happened. I should have just kept it to myself.Their stupid rules are useless.
Rapid knocking on my bedroom door has us both spinning around to look at the door. Richard glances at his watch, "I thought I told you two to get lost!"
"Areyna, I need to speak to you!" Remmie shouts, banging on the door again.
"Get dressed!" Clothes hit my face and I blink up at a very pissed off Richard. Shaking his head, he storms out of my room, closing the door before I can see anything on the other side.
I feel like a fool, Richard's right, I'm pushing my luck. The biggest problem I have is that I like them all, I'm growing to care for them deeply, but how do I tell them, how do I explain it to them without causing more problems. We all agreed to keep things platonic, but each of them keep pushing the limits and it’s only been a few hours. I have no idea how we’re all going to last weeks or even months, however long this investigation takes.
Sighing I finish doing the buttons up on my shirt and slip my jeans on. We're all stuck staying in the same house. The bond doesn't allow me to go too far away from Torren, Derrin or Remmie. For some reason I don't have the same problem with Richard and Jason.
"Baby, can I come in?" Jase’s voice comes through the wood of my door.
"Doors open." I call out.
"Want to tell me what happened?" With tears in my eyes, I quickly explain everything, from Torren coming into the bathroom while I was in the tub, to Richard breaking up Derrin and Torren's fight. Jase doesn't hesitate, he pulls me into his arms, lying us both down on my bed. With my cheek against his chest, I lie there, quietly leaking tears.
I have no idea how I'm going to fix this mess.

Somehow that asshole managed to get her to agree to let him stay in her bed. I glare at the two sleeping figures, wrapped in each other’s arms. He has no right to be touching what is mine. No fucking right what-so-ever.
My fists clench at my sides, I want to pummel him to death. I want to slaughter them all. That douche kid who dared to invade her privacy in the bathroom, even that weird kid who keeps asking far too many questions. The only one of those kids I don’t want to punch is the one who yelled at the douche for being in the bathroom with her. If he hadn’t stopped him from mauling my little Ray of Sunshine, I was going to kill them all.
She rolls away from the asshole in her bed, pulling me back from my murderous thoughts. She really is beautiful; her dark hair shines so brightly in the moonlight. Even her skin looks like perfect porcelain.
I creep across the room, perching lightly on the bed beside her hips. At first I just observe her, watching her chest as it rises and falls, but then she mumbles something turning over to face me. Her hair covers part of her face, so I gently flick it back behind her, spreading it out like a fan across her pillow.
“Sleep well my little lamb. It won’t be too much longer before we’re together. I promise.”
