Gunner kisses my cheek softly. “Anything else you’d like from us tonight – on the not so naughty side?”
I bite my lip as I think. “Tomorrow, will you read to me in the bath again? I like when we trade-off with the dialogue.”
“Of course, sweets,” He purrs in my ear. “maybe we’ll get to the I love you part … that’s always my favorite.”
I smile and kiss him softly. “I love you, Gun.”
He kisses me again, then we’re called to the cake as it’s wheeled out. Nick claps and walks Gunner and me over. Roman and Holden join us. Holden chuckles and motions to Roman. Roman looks between the guys, but they stand off to the side. My dad is saying something to the crowd, but I’m still trying to figure things out.
Gunner smiles. “You two are on legit paper. This is your honor.”
“Consider it our gift to you guys.” Holden insists.
Nick nods.
Roman kisses my shoulder and wraps his arms around me. “Ready?”
“More ready to be in bed with you four,” I murmur.
We cut the cake and feed each other pieces. Roman kisses me, licking the frosting off my lips. Gunner arches an eyebrow with a wicked grin. I point at him. “No cake in the face. This makeup was a lot and I don’t want to be mad at you.”
“I’ll behave for now.” He says before feeding me a small piece.
I give him a frosting mustache before feeding him. I squeal when he kisses me and we have to clean each other up before Nick and I feed each other cake. Holden is last, holding the fork out of my reach until I hop. He chuckles and takes pity on me, placing the slice against my lips and taking a bite at the same time I do.
Grinning, I swallow and kiss him. He rubs his thumb over my cheek and rests his forehead against mine. “We love you so much, Sophie.”
“No going back now,” I whisper.
“Perfect.” He kisses me again, slow and hungry.
I’m going to spontaneously combust between the four of them. Everyone settles down to eat and I dance with my dad, then my mom. Mom shakes her head and I see she has tears in her eyes. “I’m so happy for you, honey.”
“Even though you can’t keep flirting with my men now?”
“I just like their expressions and how clumsy they get. It’s entertaining and I know nothing is going to happen.” She says as if it’s obvious. “I’ve known before your dad did about them.”
I blink at her. “How?”
“Sophia, I know a man in love when I see one. Even when they weren’t touching you, I could tell that if your expression changed, they all wanted to fix it, they all wanted to protect you, touch you. You might as well have been the only person in the room.”
“Mom.” I sniff.
“It’s just like how your dad looks at me.” She points at Dad who’s watching her with absolute adoration. She shivers. “That look does things to me, I swear.”
“Mom.” I shake my head. “Little ears.”
She laughs as I threaten to cover my ears. She hugs me tightly. “Just know it’s rare. They’re willing to take on their family, your dad, and the rest of the world to be yours forever. As long as you remember that, I don’t think you’ll have any trouble having a marriage that most only dream of.”
I dab at my eyes. “Thank you.”
Roman tugs my hand. “Diana, I hope you and Miles have a good night, but I’m stealing my wife now.”
“Stealing?” I look over at him. “Who says I’m ready to go?”
I see Holden, Gunner, and Nick eagerly saying goodbyes and making a steady path towards the door. Roman’s hungry gaze makes me dizzy. Before I can complain or agree, he throws me over his shoulder.
“So we’re choosing spanking for our first night married. Got it.”
