RAVEN
“Is theresomething I don’t know?” I ask Kai.
He leans back in his seat, his lip rolled under his teeth.
“Roman saw you with Alejandro.”
“Yes, I know…”
“He has a proposal for you.”
The man in question leans against a table, setting his drink down.
“He knows about our arrangement,” Kai says.
How exactly…? Did it come up in conversation?
I shoot Kai a pointed look. He tips his chin down without saying more when Roman speaks.
“I’ll double the prize,” the man says, his eyes on me, not in the least bothered that I’m in his bed technically covered in someone else’s cum.
Alejandro enters the room, a towel wrapped around his hips, a fresh scent oozing from his skin.
He goes straight to the bar and fixes himself a drink before spinning around and looking at me.
He didn’t know, did he?
Why am I the only one surprised?
I swallow quickly, not revealing my emotions.
“Can you explain?”
A grin creases Roman’s lips.
“Sure. You’ll have a million dollars in your account on Monday morning…”
“If?”
A soft chuckle leaves his lips.
“If you let me fuck you while they watch.”
I may still be upright, and I may still have my back arched, and my chest pushed out. It may even look like all this is a friendly discussion between friends.
But this is crazier than it looks and sounds, and crumbling inside only proves it.
I don’t bat a lash as the information moves in my head at speed light.
Are these men in a bidding war because of me?
“Unlike their money, mine doesn’t come with strings attached,” Roman continues. ”The money is yours to use as you please, and it’s not contingent upon any conditions or terms. And I’ll be a one-time thing in your life.”
Had it not come out of Roman’s mouth, I could’ve sworn this was Kai Walker’s doing. It sounds like him. The proposal is impossible to refuse. My moral compass is about to break.
It’s like Kai wants to know if I can be loyal to him, let my heart have a say, and my feelings tilt the scale the other way.
