“They haven’t found the guy who ran your mom and sister off the road, have they? I doubt they will, either, seeing as the car was already taken apart at a scrapyard and scattered before being crushed to make tin cans.”

* * *

It took a second for Chrissie to realize what he was saying. Her stomach dropped, and she felt like she was going to throw up.

“Oh, my God. You…you killed Mom and Lisa?”

“I wasn’t planning to. I was intending to give them a scare and give them a call later to say there will be more where that came from if she didn’t keep her mouth shut. I thought I could scare her into silence. But then the news said they had died on impact, and they were looking for the car.” Drake shrugged. “Good thing I was planning on ditching the car, otherwise I would be in a shitload of trouble.”

Oh, God. Was he actually admitting to it? Chrissie’s legs felt weak, and her heart was going so fast she felt like she was going to pass out.

“You murdered them because you wanted me? Do…do you realize how insane that sounds?”

“I know what I want, and I always get what I want.” Drake shook his head and started around the table. “Now I’ve got you where I want you, I think after all this waiting I’m entitled to that virgin pussy.”

Chrissie backpedaled quickly, bumping into another table.

“I’m not a virgin anymore.”

Drake stopped.

“What?”

“I lost my virginity to someone else.” Grasping on the small bit of courage she had, Chrissie lifted her chin and glared at him. “You’re right, I was waiting. But I was waiting for someone far better than you. I never wanted you, and I never will.”

Drake looked like she had slapped him. Then his eyes narrowed, and his lip curled in a snarl.

“You’re lying.”

“Why would I lie about that? Do you want me now that I’m not a virgin? Not that I want you either way.”

“I want you no matter what, but the thought of being your first…”

“Well, sucks to be you. Because you’re not laying a finger on me.” Chrissie shuffled sideways towards the door. “Now get out of here before I get security. You know you’re not meant to be in the same room as me.”

Drake lunged with a shout that was so fast Chrissie couldn’t move out of the way in time. He grabbed her and hauled her against his chest. He kissed her hard, and Chrissie stiffened, trying to push him away.

“You’re my girl, Chrissie,” he hissed against her mouth. “I’ve been trying to get you to see that I’m the one for you, and I’m not going to be deterred because you fucked someone else. You know you’re meant to be mine.”

“No, I am not.” Chrissie pushed at his chest, whimpering as his fingers dug into her arms. “Let me go.”

“Not until I’ve fulfilled my fantasy and bent you over that table with my cock filling your sweet pussy. Maybe your ass as well.” He reached down and palmed her backside. “I’ve always imagined that ass in my possession. You won’t begin to describe my fantasies.”

Chrissie could imagine with the erection pressing into her belly. She was really beginning to panic. Even if she screamed, she doubted anyone would hear her.

Reacting on instinct, she headbutted him. The pain exploded in his head, and Drake let out a yell that had him letting go of her as he staggered back, clutching at his nose.

Chrissie ran to the door, fumbling with the handle as Drake lunged after her. This time, she managed to get away and ran into the hall. The stairs weren’t that far away. She could get down them and outside to the parking lot. Hopefully, Drake wouldn’t catch her.

“Chrissie, get back here!”

Chrissie didn’t look back as she charged into the stairwell and ran down, almost tripping over her feet. She could hardly breathe, and she could barely see with the tears. Drake had killed her mom and sister because he wanted to scare them? What sort of maniac was he?

She slammed her shoulder into the door and staggered into the parking lot. That was when her legs gave way, and she ended up on the ground. Shit, she had to get up. Drake would find her eventually. And he wouldn’t be letting her go.

“Chrissie!”

For a moment, Chrissie thought she was hearing things. Was that her father? She looked up, and saw two blurry figures running towards her. Then she realized who they were. Jared and Forrest.
