I sucked at the skin of her neck as I bounced her on my dick. Having her pressed against a wall would be so much easier, but not with her back the way it was. Besides, me fucking her like this was making her wet as fuck. I was gliding in and out of her pussy like I’d used an entire bottle of fucking lube.

“Pussy is so fucking greedy,” I rasped. I licked the seam of her lips before thrusting my tongue into her mouth. “So fucking wet, baby girl.”

“I needed you,” she whimpered. Her fingers tugged on my hair. “Need more.”

I dug my fingers into her plump ass cheeks and began to pound inside of her, yanking her down on me as I slid up inside of her. She was gasping, panting, whimpering, moaning. And I couldn’t goddamn get enough of the sexy ass sounds she was making.

“I love you,” I growled.

Those words seemed to trigger her. She cried out my name, her head falling back on her shoulders as her pussy walls clamped around me, forcing me to come with her.

After, I gently set her on her feet, keeping one hand on her hip to keep her steady as I washed her off, being gentle with her pussy. She was always a bit sore and swollen after we fucked. She bit her lip as I gently cleaned her up, leaning against me for support. Her fucking knees were shaking with the effort to remain standing.

“I’ve got you,” I whispered, pressing a kiss to her temple. I lifted her up again and stepped out of the shower. I managed to get her mostly dried off and then carried her to bed.

She passed out as I was in the middle of putting ointment on her back. A small smile tilted my lips. I pressed a kiss to the last part of her back I hadn’t put ointment on.

“Love you, baby girl,” I whispered.

The momentthe room door crept open, I sat up, my gun pointed at the figure standing in the doorway. I didn’t like surprise visits. I disliked them even more when my woman was asleep next to me, unable to even begin to try to defend herself.

“Easy,” River whispered. I slowly lowered the gun and shoved it back under my pillow. “Need to talk to you.”

River never came into someone’s room unannounced. And while I knew it was sort of messing up his day-to-day schedule to have me sleeping with Reina during the day, I knew he still respected me enough to wait until I was awake to bring anything to my attention.

So, the fact that he was waking me up without even knocking meant that something urgent had happened.

River left the room, quietly shutting the door back behind him. I eased out of bed, being careful not to wake Reina. She still wasn’t sleeping during the night, and so my schedule had sort of changed to match hers. A glance at my phone told me it was three in the afternoon. It was still two hours earlier than I would normally get up, and believe me, I was already feeling it.

I pulled my shirt back over my head that I’d tossed aside earlier and tugged my jeans up before stepping out in the hallway, not bothering with socks, boots, or my cut. I had every plan of taking my ass right back to bed after this.

River scrubbed his hand down his face as I shut the door quietly back behind me. “What is it?” I asked as soon as the door was firmly shut. I didn’t want our discussion bothering Reina.

“Warehouse got blown to fucking smithereens,” he told me. I clenched my jaw, rage pulsing through my veins. My heart rate kicked into overdrive. “Every bit of ammo going out in two days was in that building. I’ve already talked to Joey; we’re good on that front.”

That wasn’t why he had woken me up. If that was covered, there was nothing to tell me until after I was already awake. He wanted my call on this.

“We need to retaliate.”

River nodded, agreeing with me and looking a bit relieved that he had me on his side in this. “They want to play this fucking game? They’ll quickly realize we know how to play it better, but by then, it’ll be too late. They won’t stand a goddamn chance.”

I nodded in agreement. “Let me finish getting dressed, and then we can ride out and look at everything.”

He nodded and clapped a hand to my shoulder. “Was hoping you’d agree. Tank already went to look—told me nothing was salvageable, but I still want to see the destruction myself.”

And I didn’t blame him. I wanted to see it, too. River and I had done everything we could to keep the bad shit from touching us and touching this club. But everyone in the club knew I wasn’t going to just idly sit by after what Reina had gone through.

For Reina, I’d bring the fucking war right to our doorstep if it meant getting revenge on every member of the Angels of Hell.

And to think this all started because some cock sucker wanted his nephew. Probably didn’t even have the backing of the mother charter to go after the Fathers of Mayhem.

But none of that mattered now because the Angels of Hell were about to meet their fucking maker.

I slipped back into the room and managed to finish getting dressed without waking Reina. I dropped a soft, feather-light kiss to her lips before I slipped back out of the room, pulling a ball cap low on my head with the bill resting backward. I watched as River kissed Adelaide, reminding her to keep her ass inside before we headed out.

I snorted. Like hell would she really follow his directions, but River tried.

It was a fucking mess.It was just as Tank had said. Nothing was salvageable.
