He was huge, I knew, but the suit hugged every curve, every muscle like a second skin. When he flexed, when he moved at all, I had to stop myself from staring. When I didn’t move for several seconds, he turned his attention to me.
“That is the smallest suit we have. It was designed for Harper. Does it fit?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know how to zip it up.”
“Zip it up?” He moved to stand in front of me, and I placed my palms flat on his chest. Mine. Mine. Mine.
“You know? Close it?”
“Indeed.” He stepped toward me and slid his hand inside the suit, cupping my breast. I bit back a groan as he ran a rough thumb over my stiff nipple. “A shame to cover such beauty.”
“Kiss me again.”
He did, this time with a bit more urgency. When he stepped back, I swayed. He grinned and removed his hand from my body. I missed him at once.
“We should move. I don’t believe anyone would have been able to track the pod, but I won’t take chances with your life.” He magically closed the front of my suit, the entire thing adjusting to my body like a living thing, hugging me everywhere. Cormac stepped back and admired the view for several seconds. I took the opportunity to do the same. “You are beautiful, mate.”
“So are you.”
Suddenly serious, he lifted one of the toy-sized pistols and held it out to me in one hand. The other held one of the black knives. “Have you ever fired a weapon?”
“Yes. I was practically raised by my father’s security team. I can hit the bullseye almost every time from a hundred yards.”
“I do not understand this distance.”
I thought about a way to explain it to him. “If you ran as fast as you could for a count of ten and stopped, I’d be able to hit you between the eyes.” I knew that was Olympic athlete speed for a hundred-meter sprint, but I’d seen Cormac run. He wasfast.
“Close combat?”
“I’m even better.”
“Excellent.” He quickly went over the basic features of the weapon and showed me where to place the ion blaster in a specially made holster on the suit. “The blade goes here.” He slipped the long knife into a pocket on the side of my thigh. The knife, and the pocket into which he’d placed it, disappeared. “If you need the blade, place your hand over the pocket, and the suit will respond. Otherwise, the weapon will remain hidden.”
“Handy.”
“Yes. It has saved my life more than once.”
I lifted my hand to his face and ran my thumb over his lower lip. “Then I love it even more.”
“Behave, mate.”
“Not going to happen.” I slipped the helmet he handed me over my head to the sound of his quiet laughter. I found it was a sound I very much enjoyed and vowed to make sure I could hear it more often.
He lifted the pack and secured it on his back. Helmet on, he took two steps and placed his hand on the wall. A doorway slid open. He walked out as if stepping onto an alien world was an everyday occurrence.
Heart racing with excitement, fear and a bunch of chaotic emotions I couldn’t begin to sort through, I took my first step on a new world.

Cormac
Iwas supposed to be scanning for danger, not watching my new mate’s round ass swaying back and forth in front of me. We had just been forced to abandon ship, narrowly escaped death, and all I could think about was spreading the globes of her bottom wide and filling her pussy from behind. Or her ass. Maybe she’d allow that if I seduced her properly.
The more I thought about it, the more uncomfortable my suit became pressed against my hard cock.
I had to get my mind right. I would never touch her again if we were both killed on this fucked up rock. The battles that had taken place here between the Coalition Fleet and Hive forces were legendary, and I had no intention of being caught in the middle of the next one. And there would be another battle. And another. For some reason, the Hive seemed particularly interested in this sector of space. I didn’t fool myself into thinking it had anything to do with Rogue 5 or our people. There was something else here. Something neither my legion nor the Coalition had figured out yet.
“How far do we have to go?” Abby’s grumbled question snapped me to attention.
