“It smells like shit,” I say and I notice all the other men have stopped too.

“Yeah, we added some stink bomb drops in the peas.”

“Damn, that’s foul,” Anson says, and I have to agree with him.

“Y’all better hurry up! Times a ticking!” Skai says.

We get back to work. I almost throw up from the smell alone. I hear Savvy cracking up over at the table with all the other women.

“Y’all are former special forces and are about to throw up over some fake poop? Lightweights!”

“I quit!” Atlas yells when his doll pees in his face.

“Oh shit, it pees too. Oh, hell no!” Jabarri says as he slaps a new diaper on the baby after only partially wiping the poop off. Next thing I know Anson yells out “Done”

“He cheated!” I yell

Lennox goes over to check his work and sure enough, mean ass Anson is the winner. When he walks past me with his prize, he waggles it in my face, and I snatch it and run before he can react.

The next game is having baby food fed to us blindfolded and we have to guess what it is. We take our seats at the table and the women line up in front of us to feed us. We are all paired up with someone, and I realize that almost half of my brothers are married and from the looks of it at least two more are on their way to the alter. T’s mom, Diane, is running this game and instructs us to start. I take the first spoonful, and almost gag.

“Y’all feed this to babies?” I spluttered. The next few spoonsful aren’t any better, but we finally get to one that doesn’t make me want to hurl. We finally finish the last spoonful and surprise! surprise! Jaasiel wins the game.

“How the hell did the cook get to play this game? These games are rigged!” I declare.

“You are a bitter loser Asher,” Aryan says as he walks past me, I stick my foot out to trip him but he sidesteps the trap.

We continue the games and have a great time. T opens all her gifts and barely makes it through from crying so much. Little Malachi is already spoiled, and T and Angie are overwhelmed with the gifts they received. The rest of the time is spent talking, dancing, and just enjoying one another.
