“Not at all. My celebrity crushes aren’t chefs, though.”

“You have celebrity crushes? You?” Who would an Adonis crush on?

“Sure. Doesn’t everybody?”

Right until this very minute, she would have saidno. “So, spill.”

“You are acknowledging, then, that the owner of this establishment is yours?” he asked.

Heat climbed the back of her neck, but she nodded. “I do so acknowledge.”

His sexy smile reminded her that crushes were all well and good, but real-life passion was something else entirely. Something she never wanted to give up.

Which did not change the unalterable fact that at some point she would have to.

“Queen Bey.”

Jenna stared in amazement for several seconds. “Beyoncé? She’s your celebrity crush?” To be fair, the pop star was a lot of people’s crush, but he was a prince. “I didn’t know you even knew who she was.”

“Everyone knows Queen Bey. Even a prince. I’ve seen her in concert.”

“You have not.”

“I did.”

Jenna guessed she didn’t need to worry about him getting serious overthem. Not when his feminine ideal was that beautiful and talented.

Mere mortal women could not measure up.

“You’ve got alookagain.”

“I was just thinking that would be a lot to live up to for a woman who wanted a relationship with you.”

“Worried, milaya moy? Don’t be. No fantasy could live up to the very real pleasure between us.”

Jenna opened her mouth to assure him she wasnotworried, but a British voice asking how they were doing froze her vocal cords.

She knew that voice.

She turned her head in what felt like slow motion to see the man in the flesh.

He was wearing his chef’s whites, his face creased in a smile.

Jenna nearly swallowed her tongue.

“I was just asking Jenna if she wanted to order off the menu, or let you choose our food.”

“Is there really a question?” the chef asked, raising a single brow like she’d never been able to do.

“No. I...youwantto?”

“Of course. It is my pleasure to feed my friends, and I count the Merikov princes among them.”

“He said he had to call in a favor to get the table.” Jenna slapped her hand over her mouth.

But both men were laughing.

“The favor was me staying long enough to make your food personally. My table is always at his and his brothers’ disposal.”
