“You certainly delivered, Morskoy,” I murmured against his shoulder, my breathing heavy. My body was relaxed and relished in his strong embrace.

“Did I hurt you?”

Lifting my gaze up, I locked eyes with him. “Dimitry, if you were hurting me, you’d know.” I kissed him gently. “I’m not the one to just take it.”

He chuckled, and I felt the vibration in his chest. “I know, milaya. But you just lost your virginity yesterday. And here I’m rutting you like a beast.”

“Well, Morskoy, you are making all the sparks fly so keep rutting me like a beast,” I bit his lower lip gently. “I’m more mortified to get out of the water and see your guards.”

Now that we both came back to earth, the reality and embarrassment of facing potential witnesses was mortifying.

“I sent them all to the back of the house before we went for the swim.” His arms wrapped tightly around me. “I will never let anyone see you orgasm or naked. That pleasure is reserved only for me.”

I playfully smacked him on his shoulder. “So possessive. If that’s the case, I want the same. Nobody gets to see you naked but me.”

His eyes darkened a shade and I wondered what he was thinking. “You got yourself a deal, milaya.”

Chapter Thirty-Three

Dimitry

Anastasia didn’t realize it but she just made a deal with the sinner. And this deal would last a lifetime. I kept her body wrapped around me, enjoying her closeness and her hands exploring me. When she told me before the swim she was loving me, I knew she didn’t mean it the way it sounded. But it made me realize how much I wanted and craved her love. In the span of less than a week, she had become everything to me.

Nobody ever loved an orphan, a street rat, scum that killed and stole to get where I was. Her gentle hands roamed all my scars and she wanted to kiss them. There was no pity in her voice; I detested pity. Her eyes were full of sorrow and warmth. Her soft heart didn’t like to see pain or suffering. And she saw right through my scars.

Usually I fucked faceless women and discarded them. No woman had ever found a way to my heart or made me want anything more than a passing fuck. Until Anastasia.

I had never let a woman touch my body and explore it… until Anastasia.

I never cared about my past and my committed sins… until Anastasia.

For her, I wanted to be better. She deserved so much better than me, but I couldn’t give her up. She just might be my salvation.

It just happened. Effortlessly, she cracked all the ice and hard shell around my heart, then let herself in. I wasn’t even sure how or when she inched her way into my heart and made herself at home there.

“Well, I got one thing off my bucket list,” her voice was lazy, that of a satisfied woman. And the chauvinistic part of me relished in the fact that it was caused by me. “And I got seduced by Morskoy. Nobody can beat that.”

I chuckled at that. God, this woman had me smile more in a few days than I did in my entire life.

“That will be my secret nickname for you. Morskoy.” She lifted her head in search of my eyes. “What do you think? You like that nickname?”

“I do,” I told her. “Much better than a bastard sinner.”

Her palm fluttered to my face. “You are not a bastard.” Her soft voice was a caress I had never heard or experienced. “You’re my savior. How badass is that?”

“Totally badass.” I would always be her savior. None of her father’s promises of the governor’s or senator’s votes mattered anymore. She was becoming my world. Her safety was all that mattered to me. If I had to dispose of my businesses, I’d do it gladly. I’d get rid of it all, as long as I kept her.

Her body shivered in my arms, reminding me she wasn’t used to cold waters and Russian temperatures. Quickly, I helped her with her swimming suit, then pulled mine back up and we rushed out of water.

“Oh, damn. It’s cold,” she muttered through her chattering teeth. The sun was slowly setting, the warmth of the day replaced by the chill of the evening.

“Let’s run to the house.” I took her hand and we ran together, her throaty laughter echoing through the yard. I joined her carefree laughter, feeling lighter than ever.

As we burst through the door into the house, she let go of my hand and her eyes shining with mischief she glanced back at me.

“Morskoy, how about a hot shower?” The suggestion in her voice told me we’d do everything but shower. “Or would you prefer hot sex?”

With a tempting smile, she was luring me in. I might be Morskoy but she was my siren. I tracked her down with predatory steps, a chuckle rising up from deep inside. She dodged me, playing hard to catch.
