"I spent all morning with her, the smell of warm cinnamon and citrus teasing me. She kept bending over the computer, showing me a terrific view of her ass. Do you know how badly I wanted to bend her over the desk and fuck her right there, letting the humans and supernaturals alike know that she’s mine? No, ours."

Words were no longer a thing; instead, I whimpered in response. My cock was aching for my alpha, my slick so intense I knew I'd have to change before we went anywhere, which likely wouldn’t be any time soon. Knowing Niko, he'd let me suffer. His favorite tactic was to work me up to the point of desperation, then leave me wondering when he'd fuck me. I'd be so ready I'd beg for his knot, letting him push me to my limits once he took me by surprise. Fuck… I couldn't wait to see what that meant for our new omega addition.

"I believe it's nearing dinnertime." His voice changed from sultry to serious, and I groaned, glaring daggers at him. A small, satisfied smile danced across his lips. "Don't worry, my greedy omega, I'll make sure you come before the night is over."

Huffing, I stalked off to shower and change, cursing my alpha while loving him all the same. With the door closed and locked behind me, I turned on the hot water and stripped out of my clothes. My hand closed around my dick before I even realized what I was doing, imagining Farren in here with me. Her soft skin under my fingertips, those pouty lips moving against mine. Then our alpha joined, making demands that we eagerly followed. I picked up speed as I thought of her falling to her knees in front of him, water running down her body as she swallowed his cock. He fucked her mouth as ruthlessly as he did mine, taking what he needed from her, though in the end, she'd be even more satisfied than she could imagine.

My orgasm hit me hard, my eyes practically blurring as I painted the shower wall in ropes of cum. My ass was wet with slick, and I wished I had a knot, but for now, this was enough. I knew the real thing would be so much better. I'd just have to find the patience to wait for it to unfold.

Farren

A loud knock on my door had my magic coming to the surface, ready to protect me. It took a few ragged breaths before I realized it was just a knock and not an attack. I didn't bother to move until I had it under control, letting Zehra talk me down. She was restless already, needing to stretch her wings, but the mysterious new guest was unsettling for her as well. She had often been my guide for who to trust and who to run from, and everything in her warnings said I should watch him closely. We didn’t want to risk a flight when there could be someone new and dangerous out there to catch us.

I was surprised to see my mates on the other side of the peephole, but the stack of pizza boxes from Lilly's Pizza and Pasta had me yanking the door open.

"Hey, guys," I offered, raising an eyebrow and inhaling the intoxicating smell of food and their own heady scents. "You didn't want to eat with all the college kids?" My mouth twisted into a mischievous grin, unable to resist teasing them.

"Not even if you paid me," Kane bit out. "Did you know that Tracy and Kyle are both cheating? Because I fucking do. In fact, I know their entire dating history." He stalked into the room, sliding by me. He paused long enough to give me a cocky grin before moving into my suite. "Damn. Look who the boss' favorite is."

"Of course I am," I laughed. "He'd be lost without me." Their suite was half the size of mine, but still fairly big.

"We got the wards going stronger than ever," Avi told me, his face more serious than I'd seen it. "West wasn't playing around. That guy definitely had dark magic, and he was skulking around outside when we went out there."

"West never does," I agreed. "Thanks for helping. I’m ready for this guy to leave already.”

"Has he left his room?" Nikolaus asked Kane, who already had the pizza boxes on my table, opening and grabbing out a gooey piece of pepperoni. He took a big bite, downing half the slice in one go before answering.

"Twice. He came downstairs for a coffee and then again to go outside. But the weirdest thing happened," he said, flopping in the chair. His cockiness was gone as he set down his pizza. "There was a woman who came out just behind him. She took one look at him and went back to her room."

"Black hair? Timid? Latina?" I asked, heart dropping as he nodded.

"Yeah, she's in the room at the top of the stairs."

"Hold on," I sighed, going to the hotel phone I had by the door. I called down to the kitchens, relieved when Molly answered. "Hey, can you send up some food to room 206? Angela's scared of our new guest, so I don’t think she’ll eat if we don't send it up to her." I knew that would get Molly; she couldn't stand the thought of someone hungry in her hotel.

"Oh, baby, you know I'll handle it. Getting her a snack basket and a heaping tray now," she promised, hanging up without a goodbye.

"What's Angela's issue?" Levi asked as they settled at the table. I joined before answering, wanting to nab some food before they devoured it all. I was impressed at how quickly they were making it disappear.

"Remember that asshole you escorted out? West and I convinced her to leave him, to stay here and we'd help her find her way. She must have sensed how creepy he was and won't take chances," I sighed. "I've been trying to find job openings among local businesses. I need to just go get coffee and tell Connie. She'd have something for me within an hour. She's a gossip powerhouse."

"I'm coming! I need another donut," Avi said. His grin was lazy, and I felt my anxiety settle as our eyes locked. That man was quickly becoming my lighthouse on a dark night, calming me when my inner worries became too much. It wasn't the same kind of connection I had with the alphas since theirs was one of protection and safety, but it was nice that he brought something unique to the dynamic.

"Donuts?" Levi asked, perking up. "I'm in."

"And coffee," I confirmed.

"You drank coffee?" Kane asked, not believing it at all.

Avi chuckled. "Hot cocoa."

"Thought so," Kane snorted. "Give me a double shot any day. You're crazy."

"I'd hate to see you on espresso," I called out. "You're intense enough already." Kane's brown and amber eyes met mine, and a flash of heat filled them. I nearly burst into flames at the promise and busied myself taking a bite of pizza. The moment the spicy sauce and gooey cheese hit my tongue, I moaned. I didn't treat myself often enough. Molly was amazing in the kitchen, but there was nothing like a hot, melty pizza slice.

"I'm going to need you to rein that in," Kane groaned. I opened my eyes, remembering I wasn't alone. All four of them were watching me intensely, eyes heated and arousal tinting the air. Realizing what I'd done, I laughed. Nikolaus shook his head at my reaction, but I could tell it was tense.

"Whoops?" I offered, not apologetic in the least. “This is phenomenal. Can you blame me?”
