They all laughed, and Errin said, “Ah, I like that answer! I’m going to remember that one.”

The limo turned silent again. Teagan sensed that nobody really wanted to argue with Errin since it was her bachelorette party, but they also weren’t jumping for joy at the idea of going inside this strip club.

Out of the blue, Errin said, “The answer was the Ding-A-Ling Swing.”

Kayla laughed and said, “One more lame joke and I’m definitely going home.”

“Okay, sis. I’ll stop with the jokes. But we can’t leave yet. Teagan and I first have to show these girls some moves if what Gwenn said is right...” Errin winked at Teagan.

The idea of dancing on stage, sliding down the pole with actual real perverts watching her every move, made her shift in her seat. A nervous flutter made her wonder if she would have the balls to give them a show and work the pole like she did during one of her classes at Errin’s dance studio. Maybe it was the alcohol, but she wanted to let go without worrying about what others thought of her. When would this opportunity present itself again? Probably never.

She accepted Errin’s high five and said, “Yes! Let’s do this.”

Her sister Mae took in Teagan’s enthusiasm and gasped. Teagan knew she’d shocked her sister by even considering dancing on stage. Their gazes locked and, after a beat, Mae held her index finger in the air. “You get one hour and then we’re out.”

Teagan smiled at her sister. Mae had such a kind heart. She would even go inside this sleazy looking strip club, while everyone knew she wasn’t comfortable with any of that. Her sister was a romantic at heart. At twenty-three, Mae still waited for mister right to lose her virginity to.

Teagan was sure that her sister was extra reserved because of Teagan’s past. Teagan hated how her stupid, youthful indiscretions still affected her family.

“Okay, let’s go!” Errin shouted before any of them could change their minds.

Teagan slid out of her side of the limo, following Kayla and Gwenn. They waited on Mae, Emmy and Errin, before walking up to the bouncer who seemed at least seven feet tall with muscles upon the muscles covering his original muscles.

“Oi, Brass Balls, dunno what the hell you’re thinkin’, but you’re not comin’ inside,” the bouncer said with a clear Australian accent to Gwenn.

“Brass Balls?” Mae mouthed to Teagan. She pulled her shoulders. Teagan had no clue why that guy would call Gwenn that.

“Bondi, Bondi, Bondi….” Gwenn clucked her tongue. “Now that’s no way to welcome a lady to your premises.”

Bondi grinned at Gwenn. “You’re good. But I’m not fallin’ for your puppy eyes.”

“Oh? Since when?”

Kayla put her hand on Gwenn’s shoulder and said, “Come, Gwenn. We should go home, anyway.”

Gwenn didn’t move a muscle. “Are you really tellin’ me we can’t go inside?”

“Yep. Not without Zeus’ okay, you’re not. Seein’ that blondie with that thingy on her head, I reckon this is a bachelorette?” Bondi pointed at Errin’s veil covered in spilled booze and lipstick smears.

Teagan wondered who this Zeus guy was. Perhaps the strip club owner?

Kayla whispered, “Dunc is going to lose his shit if he hears about us ending up at a strip club.”

That was no lie. All of Teagan’s cousins were protective of their wives and girlfriends. Duncan was most definitely no exception to that rule, especially with Kayla being pregnant.

“Ah, show our bride some love and let us in,” Gwenn said to Bondi.

“Zeus said—”

Gwenn held up her hand, interrupting Bondi. “If you let us in, I’ll clean your room at the club for a week.” She held out her hand for Bondi to shake on it. Teagan had no clue what they were talking about, but Gwenn seemed really in tune with this guy. Even offering to clean up his room?

“Two weeks…” he said, also holding out his hand.

“One week and two days,” Gwenn countered.

Bondi scratched his scruffy beard and said, “Those two days better be weekend days…”

Gwenn laughed, and as she passed Bondi on her way inside, she said over her shoulder, “Come on, girls. Let’s show these guys how you really work the pole.”
