Her cheeks grew pink and she gave an adorable little wiggle of anticipation that rubbed her soft breasts against my chest.
“So…I still get to be your pet?”
“While you’re in my home—ourhome—you’ll be my pet and I will be your Master,” I told her. “When we leave it, you will be a respected lady—a full citizen of Korrigon Four. Does that sound like a good compromise?”
Little one threw her arms around my neck and gave me a passionate kiss. When she drew back her eyes were shining with tears, but I could feel through our sealed bond that they were tears of happiness, not despair.
“Oh, Sir,” she whispered. “It soundsperfectto me.”
“That’s good, my darling,” I told her. “Because I’m never going to let you go again.”
And I haven’t.
EPILOGUE
ELLI
So are you thinking that’s the end? Well, not so fast! I still have to tell you what happened to several of the people in my story before I let you go.
First of all, Shadrack was arrested for using an illegal Folding Drive to kidnap unwilling women. Since all the women in my universe had been termed “people” by the Korrigon standards, this was a big no-no. Because, while Korrigons will take just about any other species as pets, they never take another Korrigon in the same capacity. I don’t know why that is—maybe because they all seem to be pretty dominant and in order to be a good pet, you have to have some submissive tendencies. But I digress—the main point is that Shadrack was thrown into prison without any chance for parole. And let me tell you—Korrigon prison is no joke!
As for Gra’multh, who put the sleazy Pet Finder up to kidnapping me, the Sovereign stripped him of his title and his Mental Powers by making him wear a permanent inhibitor collar. It was the same kind he’d had Shadrack put on me, only made of unbreakable material, so there was no way he was ever getting it off. She replaced him as Overlord with a younger Noble who agreed with Sir about outlawing Mind-Control of lesser species.
Which means that Korrigon Four has now become a much nicer place, since the planets they had subjugated have been freed and the people who lived there are now left to live in peace.
There is still a Sex Pet Trade, but now only willing pets are taken—women, (and some men) who want a chance at a new lifestyle with a hot, dominant Korrigon Master. And Sir and I continue to live our double life, with me being his willing Sex Pet at home and his “Lady-wife,”—as the Korrigon males call their mates—when we go out together. We often go to Court, where I am a great favorite of the Sovereign due to my continued ability to make the Matter Synthesizer produce the best damn chocolate chip cookies you ever tasted.
After lots of hot breeding, it turns out that I’m pregnant and now Sir and I are expecting our first child. He has assured me that the baby won’t grow too big for me to carry it—Korrigon infants are about the size of human ones—they just grow incredibly rapidly once they come out. So we are happily awaiting the birth of our first. Due to the funny way Korrigon genetics work, if it’s a boy, it will look Korrigon and if it’s a girl, it will look human. Either way, we’ll just be happy if he or she is healthy and has ten fingers, ten toes, and two horns—if it’s a boy, of course.
But what about the people I left behind back home, I hear you asking? Whatever happened to them? After all, the main reason I wanted to go back to Earth in the first place was to avoid hurting my mom and my sister.
Well, since I have my own Mental Abilities on Korrigon Four, I was able to send some dreams to help my mom and Taylor understand that I’m okay and much happier than I ever was in my dead-end life back on Earth. I even sent a dream to Great Aunt Maizy, letting her know she’d have to find someone else to take care of her “babies” because I wasn’t coming back this time. I hope she got the message or she’s going to have a hell of a time potty training those seven little Pom-bull puppies by herself!
But speaking of dreams, I had another one myself just last night. And this time, I can remember it…
I had just drifted off to sleep beside Sir in his massive bed when I suddenly found myself standing in front of the golden throne and the girl with the long blonde hair. This time, I recognized her.
“Charlotte!” I exclaimed happily.
“Elli!” She came down off the throne and gave me a big hug.
“How are we talking?” I asked her when we broke our embrace. “I thought we couldn’t communicate once I left my home galaxy?”
“But now your powers have fully manifested,” she reminded me. “You’re reaching out to me as much as I’m reaching out to you and we’re able to meet in the middle. And speaking of your La-ti-zal powers…you did it!” she told me. “You saved our galaxy! I’m so proud of you—Iknewyou could do it.”
“I wasn’t sure myself,” I admitted. “And things got sticky for a while, but now everything is just peachy.”
“Yes, I can see it is.” She smiled and looked down at my gently rounded abdomen. “Looks like you and that Korrigon of yours are expecting.”
“Yes, we are.” I smiled at her. “Maybe after I have my baby, I can come visit you and we can meet in person. But I can’t right now—it’s not safe for me to use the Korrigon way of traveling while I’m pregnant.”
“Of course it’s not,” she said gently. “But I thought you might like to know about someone you left behind back in your home galaxy—someone I believe you were worried about.”
“Natalie!” we said at the same time.
It was true, I had been worried about the other human girl I had met back on O’nagga Nine. I couldn’t stop thinking of how she was stuck on that awful, freezing planet with no way off. I had tried to send her a dream, but maybe I didn’t know her well enough, because I couldn’t tell if she had gotten it or not. The nagging worry I had about her was the one thing that kept my happiness in my new life with Sir from being complete.
“You don’t have to worry about Natalie anymore,” Charlotte said, smiling at me. “She is going to be taken care of.”
