Chapter 7

Rory

LeavingFlagstaffisbittersweet. We cross into California today, and it's like a big bucket of cold water to remind us that this bubble is ending soon. Despite that, we still plan to enjoy the rest of the trip. So, like always on travel days, the music is cranked up, the windows are down, West in driving, my feet are in his lap, and his hand is in mine.

When we are driving around back home, I hope this doesn't stop. His hand on my thigh or in my hand, while he drives, is sexy as hell, and I don't ever want him to quit.

We stop and get lunch at a classic Route 66 diner, and as much as I love all the diner food, I'm sure I've put on ten pounds by now. Though with all the crazy hot sex with West, I'm just as sure I'm well on my way to burning it off.

"So,” I ask West, “how do you feel about making tomorrow a shorter day? There is another Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino, and they have a vacancy. I think it would be cool to stay there for a night."

"Let's do it. The ones in Holbrook, Arizona, were really cool looking."

I glance over at him. "Nate will have something to say about another delay."

Whenever I bring up my brother, I always feel weird. West says not to be anxious, and he’ll handle it, but I do worry.

We get into Needles, California, and get a room. Then we head out to explore a bunch of the old Route 66 motels and gas stations. We take our photo in front of the famous Welcome to Needles Railroad Borax Wagon.

I send that photo to Nate.

Me:Look, we are in the same state now!

Nate:Finally! Are you having fun?

Me:Yeah. Honestly, it's been nice having West here and not having to drive the whole thing. I took so many photos.

Nate:I can't wait to hear all about it. When you get here, I have lunch set aside, just you and me to catch up.

Me:Can't wait.

While I do want to catch up with my brother, the thought of having lunch with him makes my stomach do flip flops. If he knows, I'm sure that's all he will harp on, and if he doesn't, I’ll feel nothing but guilt keeping it from him. Really, this is a no-win situation.

"So, I’m thinking we grab dinner and take it back to our room tonight,” West says pulling me from my thoughts. “There is a storm rolling in, and maybe we can just relax and watch some TV?"

"Sounds perfect. What are you in the mood for?"

"There is a retro diner up the road there. Want to go see what they have?"

“Sounds good,” I agree.

Thirty minutes later, we are back in our room with dinner spread out picnic-style on the bed as we try to decide what to watch.

"How about one chick flick and one action movie?" he says, referring to the romantic comedies I like to watch.

"I agree so long as it's not too gory."

"I know you don't like blood and guts, so I promise to pick a mild one."

We clean up and settle in to watch TV. I'm in his arms, my back to his chest, and not even ten minutes into the movie his hand starts wandering, and he's kissing the back of my neck. I turn to kiss him, but he stops me.

"Watch the movie, baby girl. I know you like this one."

I nod and try to concentrate on the TV, but when his hand unbuttons my shorts and dips below my panties, there is nothing in the world that would pull my attention from what’s going on down there. Slowly he moves one hand and palms my breasts over my shirt, and then with the other, he strums my clit.

Not able to sit still, I rub my ass against his hard cock, and he groans, removing his hand.

"Watch the movie," he whispers in my ear again as he pulls my leg up and back over his hip.
