"Enough," Wynn snapped, and I stiffened, everything in me demanded I kneel and ask for forgiveness. I fought against the need, gaining me a surprised but not angry look from Wynn.

Piper smacked Wynn on the chest, gaining his attention. "Knock the fuck off, will you? We're all on the same side. Darren wants answers just like I do. We're going bat shit crazy stuck in this place."

"Then, perhaps, I should help relieve you of some of your stress." Wynn purred once more, his attention solely on Piper. "I have missed you, love. Your scent, your smart mouth..." he kissed her. "Your taste." He moaned. "If I could bottle your flavor up and take it with me, I would."

Piper giggled and pushed him away. "You're such a freak."

"Only for you," Wynn murmured into her neck, the scent of blood tinging the air.

Piper didn't push Wynn away, her eyes rolling up as she clung to him. It was as if I didn't even exist.

I shifted away from the table and stood. "I believe I'll take a walk. Please take your time."

The gasps and moans filled my ears before I even made it out the door.
