“Me too, sweetheart,” I reply. After a moment, I add, “So Daisy, I’ve never asked you before, but what do you want to do?”
“You, Daddy,” she says mischievously.
I chuckle and reply, “Well, thank you, but I mean in general. Like with your life. What do you want to do?”
She shrugs and says, “Nothing, really. I have everything I need. I have a place to sleep, I have enough food, I have friends and my home is on my car, so I can literally go anywhere I want.”
Seeing the look on my face, she giggles and says, “Don’t worry, Daddy, I’m not going anywhere.”
We reach the camper, which for the next 45 days is parked at an RV park as payment for some work Daisy did on their website. Before I leave, she grabs my hand and says, “Do you want to come inside, Daddy?”
I follow her inside and an hour later, I leave very sexually satisfied but also feel very guilty. I’m not helping my little girl grow. I don’t deserve her. I’m a failure as a Daddy.
