"Please, forgive me for not telling you the whole truth," he continues, taking me by the hand. "I wanted you to know me better at first."
I try to get up from his lap, but he doesn't let me.
"Please, don't go, Cami." He presses my body even harder to his. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you that day on the yacht."
"But...Fiona...Does she know?" I can't believe it. If my aunt finds out who Antoine is, she will threaten him.
"She received her payment and signed a non-disclosure agreement. She left that same day. She won't bother you ever again. And if she does, I'm ready to sue her for selling this ranch, your ranch."
I blink, sucking in air with my mouth, still unable to believe this is all real.
"And...Jules?" I ask carefully. I know that my former fiancé is rich. What did Antoine say to him?
"I talked to him. And when he found out who I am, and how much you mean to me, he stepped back."
"He stepped back? Just like that?"
"I told him that you're mine. Do you think he wants to fight with one of the richest families in Europe?"
Antoine winks at me, and I only realize how many times I’ve seen the name Le Blanc in the news. His family is wealthy. And powerful.
"Will you forgive me?" he asks once again.
"For being rich?" I smile.
He laughs and gives me another hug.
"That too, but mostly for not telling the truth."
"You mean lying?" I clarify.
He nods, still smiling. "For everything."
I wait a couple of moments, looking into his deep dark-brown eyes, so beautiful that I could easily dissolve in them and stay like that forever.
"If you forgive me for leaving without you," I whisper back, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Only if you promise never to do that again."
"I will if you will."
"Deal."
And then we finally kiss. We sit like that and keep kissing until I feel my lips start to swell, and even then, we keep kissing, touching, holding, and melting in each other's arms.
"I love you," I whisper somewhere between kisses.
"I love you more," he whispers back and enters my mouth again with his playful tongue.
That's when I realized that fairy tales do exist. They are waiting for you. And when you're almost ready to give up—don't do that—keep believing, and your miracle will find you.

CAMILLA
Four years later
"Why are you so nervous?" I startle in surprise when my husband enters our bathroom and starts talking to me.
