I cast him a side glance, and my stomach turned over. He was so damn gorgeous, “I’m here because I want to be. Why are you here?”
“Looking for you.” I turned quickly at his declaration. What? Why was he looking for me?
“How did you know I’d be here?”
“First things first, Paisley.” He turned my stool and trapped me between his thighs. His crooked finger lifted my chin until I met his intense gaze. “The reason I told you never to sign up for one of my classes wasn’t because I have anything against you. It’s because I want you.”
I sucked in a breath, my heart was pounding in my chest, and the feel of his skin touching mine, even if it was just his finger under my chin, had me shivering with unmet needs. My pussy was flooded with my desire. I could feel my core vibrating as if he was invisibly stroking something deep within me.
“Oh.” I finally said, not sure what to say.
“Yeah, surprised the shit out of me, too. I’ve been teaching for years and never once felt anything toward a student. Then you come in and blow that all to hell.” He let go of my chin, but I maintained looking up at him, though it killed me to do it. I wanted to look away because he was so intense, it was hard not to.
“Now, have you blocked Adam from your phone and social media?”
“How do you know about Adam?”
“I saw his post when I looked you up. Another thing I’ve never done, look up a woman because I just need to see her.”
“You did that?”
“Yes. Now answer me. Have you blocked him?” His tone left no room for argument.
“Yes, but he keeps calling on other phones. I keep blocking them as they come up.” I shrugged, not sure what else to do. I figured I’d have to change my phone number because he was blowing my phone up.
“I’ll take care of it.”
“Professor Hawthorne—”
“Liam,” he interrupted.
“Liam,” I tried his name out and loved the way it sounded. “You really want me?” I asked, unsure of anything anymore.
“Yes, more than you can imagine, Paisley, but you have to understand that when we are together, you are mine. No going back, and I want everything from you—including your submission.”
He cupped my cheek and ran his thumb across my lower lip, my tongue followed the path of his thumb, and I looked at his lips, wanting, no begging for a kiss, desperate for a taste of him.
Liam didn’t hold back, he kissed me hard and long. It was unlike any kiss I’ve ever had before. Adam’s sloppy kisses were erased from my mind and all that remained was Liam.
I wanted him so bad. My mind went back to the scene I’d seen on stage, and the couple from the audience. I wanted that. I wanted to feel the thick ridge of his cock moving in and out of me. I wanted to feel the pleasure he could give me.
Instinctively, I knew that Liam was more than just one night. I felt that the minute I met him, it’s why I felt guilty, why I was angrier at him for the unintended snub than at Adam for his cheating.
Chapter Four
Liam
Paisley’s lips tasted like sweet honey. She was perfect. Her little blue jean skirt that showed too much thigh and the little black corset top that showed off her breasts were more than I could take. I kissed her with the intent of seducing her to give me what I want, but by her reaction, she was a more than willing participant.
I pulled back and ran my fingers through her hair, gripping the back of her head as I held her close enough that we were breathing the same air. “You know this won’t be sweet vanilla sex, right?”
Her eyes darkened as she drew in a shuddering breath, but she slightly nodded in confirmation that she knew what she was doing. “Yes.” Her voice was soft, almost drowned out by the music and the conversations going on around us. Almost.
“Savage,” I called out, not breaking eye contact with Paisley. She didn’t understand, but the man behind the bar did when he slid me a key. Damian Savage owned Club Deviance, and he was a close friend of mine.
“One-o-one, and go easy on her, Hawthorne.” I turned to look at him. The tension between Paisley and me was so thick you could cut it with a knife. “This time at least.” I nodded to my old friend, took the key and Paisley’s hand, leading her from the great room and up the stairs.
This was it. I was going to claim her tonight and forever. Paisley would have a ring on her finger and a baby in her belly by her second semester of school. I was going to make sure of it.
