I shook my head. “She’s fucking stunning.”
Antonio lifted her veil, then placed her hand in mine. I took my place to her left, and Cormac took his beside Liam, to her right. The four of us linked hands. We were really going to do this.
Ginevra eschewed the large part of preparations for the ceremony, leaving them in Sofia and my capable hands. The two of us became fast friends, taking delight in driving Ginevra up a wall.
The officiant invoked the ceremony, but kept it short and sweet. When it was my turn to take my vows, I turned to my lovers, my best friends, the people I wanted to spend the rest of my life walking beside.
“I, Rian O’Conner, take you all, Ginevra Russo, Liam Byrne, and Cormac Wallace, to be my family. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.”
We’d kept our vows simple and traditional. Ginevra was the last to say hers, and when she finished, joyful tears streamed down her face.
I pulled four rings out of my pocket, connected with a red ribbon. My brow furrowed with concentration as I untied the bow and slipped them into my palm. The others clustered around me and I slid a ring onto each of their ring fingers until only one remained in my hand.
Ginevra picked it up, grinning. “Last chance to change your mind.”
I laughed and brushed a knuckle against her chin. “I would never.”
She slid it onto my finger. I wrapped my hand around hers and raised her knuckles to my lips. “Almost done.”
Ginevra’s tongue darted out to lick her lips and suddenly I couldn’t wait for the ceremony and the reception and the endless formalities to be over. Her eyes flicked up to mine, as if she could hear my thoughts. She winked slowly and deliberately.
She reached and pulled my ear down to her lips. “I’m not wearing any panties, Rian.”
I swear, my eyes fucking crossed with lust. The officiant must have heard her, because he looked discomfited. He cleared his throat, as if to remind us we needed to finish the ceremony before we could consummate the marriage.
I leaned down to trace my lips over the sensitive shell of her ear, enjoying her shiver. “Such a slutty goddess on her wedding day.”
When I pulled back, her eyes were dazed too. The officiant gamely soldiered on, ignoring the two of us. When he pronounced our polycule a family, the guests roared their approval.
Liam bent down to brush her lips, then pulled in Cormac for a gentle kiss. I dragged Ginevra to me and resisted the temptation to slam my lips into hers and ravage her, right then and there. Instead, I gently kissed her lips, her cheeks, her forehead, and her nose until she giggled. “Can’t muss your make-up until we get you somewhere private, love.”
Liam and Cormac were breathless when they pulled away from each other, but finally, we turned to face the crowd of cheering, excited guests together.
Together.
We’d done it.
Hell yeah, we did.And I was never going to let them go.
