Cupping her jaw with both hands, I brushed my lips across hers, savoring her sharp intake of air as my tongue licked at her entrance. She responded by opening her lips and swirling her tongue with mine. I could kiss this woman all day and never grow tired of the way our mouths melded together.
“Are you sure you can’t come with me?”
“I’m sorry, but I can’t. I’m going to spend some time with my parents before Dad leaves, then I’ll take Mom back to Carson. She has some work to do at the warehouse. Then I’ll head back to my apartment and figure out what to do there. Katy offered to pay my portion of the rent, but until I have a new job, I don’t want to leave her in the lurch like that.”
“So, what are you planning on doing?”
“I think, for the time being, I’m going to move back home.”
“Then what?”
Wrapping her arms around my shoulders, Addison said, “Then I’m coming to you.”
