Recklessness stirred inside me. I hadn’t felt this out of control in a long time, not since Adelaide. She was my anchor, keeping me in the calm waters that had been my happy place over the last year. But she’d released me, given up the role, and now anything could happen.

With my hand firmly on her nape, I led Adelaide to the blue quadrant. Pairs and small groups were dotted along the way, in front of windows to watch, barely concealed in dark corners to be seen, heading into the open rooms to play. I nodded to a few people but gave them space to do their thing.

“It’s this one,” she murmured at the second to last room. “This is our room.”

I hadn’t been in this room before, and that was a relief. This was just for us. No memories of anyone else to mar the experience.

A large, four-poster bed sat in the center of the space with room on all four sides and straps attached to each post. There was a small bathroom in the corner, and a padded bench at the end of the bed at perfect kneeling height.

“Do you think they’re going to watch us?” Adelaide asked.

“Do you want them to?” My hand slid from her nape to her shoulder, but my eyes never left hers. She chewed on her bottom lip and crossed her legs at the ankle. She was nervous. It made me want to gather her up and carry her out of here King Kong style.

Slowly, she nodded. “Yes. I want them to see.”

“I have no doubt you’ll have an audience. They saw you walk in here wearing that dress. They’ll want to see more of you.”

“Good.” She sucked in a breath and glanced around the room. “Take off your clothes.”

“I—what?”

“This is my show, right? You’re earning my trust?”

“Yes. Of course.”

She stepped into me, pressing her tits to my chest. “Then take off your clothes, Adam. Everything except your underwear. Then I want you to lie on the bed. Will you do that?”

She smelled like home and felt like heaven against me. I’d have done a lot. Probably anything she asked. Taking off my clothes wasn’t any kind of hardship. I reached down, snagged the hem of my Henley, and tugged it over my head. Adelaide got jostled in my movement and brought her hands up to brace herself.

As soon as she touched me, her palms warm against my chest, blood rushed straight to my dick. She gasped as I rocked into her. I hadn’t even meant to do it, but my cock was seeking her out of its own volition.

“I forgot how big you are,” she murmured.

“I haven’t forgotten a thing about you.”

Her head whipped up from my chest to my eyes and she staggered back a step. “Except you did.”

Shit.I’d said the exact wrong thing, because I had forgotten.

“Tell me what I said,” I pleaded.

She shook her head, taking another step back, then gestured to the bed. “Lie down.”

I kicked off my shoes and jeans, leaving only my boxer briefs, and settled in the middle of the bed, following orders. I wasn’t surprised when Adelaide approached and secured my ankle with one of the cuffs.

“If this isn’t okay, tell me now,” she said.

“It’s okay, baby. Do what you need to do.”

Being strapped down wasn’t really my thing. I’d tried it once or twice, and that had been enough. I was too tactile to lose that sense. More than that, I liked being in control.

But this was what she needed and watching her take it had me settling in for the rest of the show. I had no idea where this was going, but my gut was on fire with anticipation.

“How does that feel?”

I tugged at the straps. “Like I’m not going anywhere.”

“Do you hate it?”
