“Oh, am I easy?”
“When you’re ridin’ my face and pleading for my tongue, you turn into the softest woman alive. And in the minute before you fall asleep, you tuck your wee head beneath my chin and sigh. It’s adorable and sweet. I bet I could get you to agree to anything.”
Again, heat bloomed outward from the center of my chest. I didn’t think anyone had ever seen me quite the way Ronan had.
“You probably could, but you’d never try.” I wasn’t sure of a lot of things, but Ronan being a stand-up guy was one of them.
I yawned, and he chuckled. “Go to sleep. I don’t think you’ll get much of it once we land.”
“Only if you do too.”
“Mmm.” He nuzzled the top of my head, slouching down in his chair as if he actually intended on falling asleep. He’d probably wait until I was out, then turn on his laptop or take out his phone and do work. But he’d do it one-handed, holding me with the other, and I couldn’t resist the pull of sleep when he held me like he did.
“Just for a little,” I mumbled.
He kissed my forehead. “Good night, meala.”
