“That would have been unfair toward me, wouldn’t it?” Martinez asked with a sigh before glancing Gabriel’s way, smiling like a wolf about to devour a doe. “We’re gonna start right here, in the car. You ever seen a cock sucked?”

Gabriel’s eyes went wide as he sank into the seat in terror. This wasn’t part of the plan. Things were only supposed to happen once they reached the forest. “Huh? No. I don’t have access to porn.” He’d heard about adult movies from Abaddon and was more than fine on missing out when he had a beautiful lover to show him the ropes.

Martinez grinned, placing his hand on Gabriel’s thigh. It felt like a burn, but Gabriel managed to stay calm as his tormentor spoke.

“When we park, I’ll pull on that pretty hair and make sure you learn how to please me by the end of this night. You ever tried your own cum?” he asked, setting Gabriel’s entire body on high alert. He didn’t want Abaddon to hear any of this, and they still had a good few minutes to drive even though they’d already turned into the forest.

Because… Abaddon was there, wasn’t he?

Gabriel’s mind raced, suggesting that the angel had been a figment of his imagination all along, but how could someone as physically weak as him have gotten rid of the cook and the doctor on his own? This wasn’t some stupid movie about a delusional man going on a murder spree with his imaginary lover. His life would not end with a plot twist!

Martinez snapped his fingers in front of Gabriel’s face, which meant he’d taken his hand off the thigh for at least a moment. “I’m talking to you, boy.”

“M-my cum… I guess I have,” he muttered, ashamed that it was true. He wouldn’t have minded telling Abaddon, even joking about it, but this was different.

This was intrusive. Disgusting. Meant for his discomfort.

“You will drink a lot of mine tonight, boy. Bet you can’t wait,” Martinez said in a raspy tone that made Gabriel peek into the man’s lap to see the outline of an erection pushing at the front of his rapist’s pants. How could one man be this sick?

When Gabriel didn’t answer, glancing Martinez’s way as if he were too shy to speak, the bastard grinned and raised his hand to grab Gabriel’s jaw. His salty thumb pressed between Gabriel’s lips like a bug trying to crawl into his mouth.

“Or should I fill your tight virgin hole? It’s been a while since I’ve done it without rubbers.”

Gabriel could no longer move, frozen like an animal caught on an ice floe and about to fall into deathly water. The dirty fingers left his mouth and slid down his arm before rapidly pulling his hand between Martinez’s legs. To the hard cock that had torn Gabriel apart ten years ago.

It was as if he'd been stabbed, and a muffled noise escaped his lips, but a dark ghost passed through the rearview mirror, and Martinez let go of him.

“Drive on,” Abaddon whispered in a voice resembling two grindstones clashing.

He was here! He’d been at Gabriel’s side all along!

“The fuck?” Martinez uttered, but let go of Gabriel’s hand and focused on the road ahead as a blade pushed against his throat.

Gabriel let out a single sob, trying to compose himself despite his heart thudding as if he’d just gotten reanimated.

“We know what kind of man you are, Officer Martinez. But God has been watching you, and now comes the time to pay for your sins. Against Gabriel and everyone else,” Abaddon hissed.

“What are you talking about? Who are you? Is this about money?” Martinez asked, squeezing the wheel as he tried to catch a glimpse of Abaddon in the rearview mirror, but the black hood he wore cast a shadow on the handsome face, leaving only the lips and chin visible. Martinez frowned as if something had clicked in his mind. “Did Father John send you? If that bastard thinks he’ll continue getting a steady supply from me after this, he’s got another thing coming!”

Gabriel’s breath evened out, and the pine scent in the air no longer bothered him. He turned to look at Martinez who didn’t seem as frightening with a blade against his skin and Abaddon’s fingers twisted in his dark hair.

“No. Father John will get what’s coming for him too. This is about you.”

Martinez’s lips twitched, but he kept his eyes on the narrow road. “Ah, I see what’s going on here. You offered your flat ass to a guy who’d do your bidding for y—” He stalled when a bit of blood dripped from under the knife.

“There’s nothing we need to hear from you now,” Abaddon growled, and each of his words anchored Gabriel in reality.

The glow of the headlights made the perspiration on Martinez’s face shine, but seeing him in distress didn’t give Gabriel pleasure. He just wanted this to end.
