“Yes, but I don’t think I would forgive myself. She has had enough people hurt her. I have hurt her. I won’t make that mistake again,” I told him as we headed back to the packhouse.

“And if she doesn’t want you? Then what?”

“Lana said I could move to their pack.”

“You’re going to leave?” he asked.

“If she doesn’t want me, I won’t be the one to cause conflict between Tyson and her.”

Chapter fifty-four

Lucy

Rayan eventually woke up, and mom had to leave to make a bottle for Ryden. I didn’t want to leave the little bubble of my room, but I missed my mates too, and I wanted to go home. As much as I loved being here, it was no longer home anymore. Getting up, I grabbed a bag just as my mother came back in with Ryden in her arms, feeding him a bottle.

“You’re leaving again?” she asked, and I nodded.

“Well, I can help you pack. I replaced almost everything. Ryker kept a detailed list of everything I destroyed, thank god but a lot of it I found was in Rayan’s room,” she said, and I could see the guilt on her face as she placed Ryden down on the bed.

“Lucy, I am sorry for everything. I should have told you about Amanda. I should never have—”

I waved her off. “It’s fine, mom. I get it. I really do. I know that wasn’t you, and even if it was, I understand it,” I told her. She nodded before opening some of the drawers, pulling my clothes out and putting them in a duffle bag.

“Is Tyson still here?” I asked her, and she nodded.

“Yes, he hasn’t left except to get his car,” she told me, and I felt relief flooding me.

“What about Ace?”

“Ryker is dropping him home now. He wants to give you some space,” she told me, and my brows furrowed.

“What do you mean?”

“You will figure it out. Not really my place to explain. Your relationship is between them and you. I will be here no matter what you choose, Lucy,” she told me, making me more confused.

I gathered a few things and placed them in my bag before finding an old photo album and tossing it in with my things. I zipped the bag up, and my mother grabbed it, so I grabbed Ryden before following her downstairs to the living room. Rayan came over to me before spotting the bag in my mother’s hands.

“You aren’t staying?” he asked sadly, and I felt my heart clench.

“No, but maybe you can come for a sleepover on the weekend,” I asked, looking at my mother. She nodded, and Rayan smiled sadly before agreeing and wrapping his arms around me. I passed Ryden back to mom, and I hugged him close before kissing his head.

Leaning over the back of the couch in the living room, I found Tyson asleep, his mouth wide open as he snored. I jammed my fingers in his mouth, and he choked, jolting upright, and I laughed at him.

“What the fuck?!” he choked out before noticing me. “Lucy?”

I smiled at him before he jumped off the couch in a blur, racing around it and engulfing me in a hug. Tingles rushed everywhere so much stronger than before, and my mark tingled, making me shiver as I leaned into him.

“You’re okay. You made me worry for a bit.” I nodded, hugging him back. I was far from okay, but I had my mates and my family.

“Yeah, I am fine. I just want to go home,” I told him, pressing my nose into his neck and inhaling his scent.

“You don't want to stay? I don’t mind staying here,” Tyson said, but I shook my head.

“No. Besides, Ace is at home,” I told him, and he pulled away, looking at me oddly.

“So, you spoke to him?” Tyson asked, and I shook my head.

“No, but I want to go home with my mates,” I told him, and he nodded, looking at my mother, who shook her head at him.
