“Yeah, a little bit.” I let my hands fall away from his, so I could sit up straight and take slow breaths. “You should go back and eat dinner. I don’t want to keep you.”
“My dad has a rule. If one person is missing, none of us eat.”
“Great.” I sighed. “So we’re holding everyone up?”
“Don’t worry about it. Take all the time you need. The Vitales don’t look like they’ve ever missed a meal. It won’t kill them.”
I shook my head and laughed. “Why are they here? I thought your family hated them?”
He scratched the corner of his jaw, deep in thought. “We’re merging with them. Settling our old beef.”
“Why?”
Stefan turned his head away from me, avoiding my gaze as he stared at the ocean. “My dad is getting closer to retirement, and he doesn’t want us tearing apart the city anymore.”
I let out a relieved breath.
And here, I thought they were all here because the Lucianos found out about the loan my dad got from the Vitales. So maybe they didn’t have proof of my dad’s crimes.
Sure, they had suspicions.
But so far, they couldn’t prove anything. Even the forensic accountant digging through our files didn’t spot anything out of the ordinary.
Stefan slid his chair closer to mine and hiked my dress up my thighs. Licking his lips, he ran his hands over my skin and hissed. “You’re perfect, bellezza.”
I liked when he called me beauty.
He dipped his head down and buried his face between my thighs, kissing up to my core. Each carefully placed kiss sent a shiver down my legs.
Fisting his black hair between my fingers, I closed my eyes and tilted my head back to rest it on the chair. “Stefan, they’re waiting for us to eat dinner.”
“They can wait five more minutes,” he said against my skin.
I looked at the French doors, where a soft golden glow lit up the kitchen. “Can they see us out here?”
“They’re not leaving the dining room.” He pressed his index finger to his lips. “Be quiet and let me eat my dessert.”
He pushed my panties to the side and licked me straight down the center, splitting me open with his tongue.
“Oh, God,” I whispered, shoving my fingers through his hair. “Stefan.”
His eyes met mine as he rolled his tongue over my aching clit and sucked it into his mouth. Much like his twin, Stefan enjoyed seeing the effect he had on me.
I moaned his name.
“That’s it, sweet girl.” He flicked his tongue. “Come for me.”
Tremors of pleasure swept over my body like a violent storm. My legs trembled, and Stefan clutched my thighs, holding me in place as I came on his tongue.
“That wasn’t smart,” I said as he lifted his head.
He wiped his lips with the back of his hand. “Why not?”
“Because I just had an asthma attack,” I muttered. “And I could hardly catch my breath when I came.”
Stefan placed his arms on each side of the chair and kissed me. “I won’t let anything happen to you.”
