“Look at them. They’re nervous and need reassurance that they kicked butt.”
“Do you think they kicked butt?” Griffin sounds incredulous.
“I’m handing out nothing but A’s.”
“Hmm. You’re overly charitable.”
“I always look at the bright side. Your students are smart. Besides, I gave them a little extra because I’m happy to see you.” I grin.
“Good point, but I’m a very impartial professor.” He speaks seriously, but a corner of his mouth is quirking.
“Then you can give them impartial A’s.”
“We’ll see.” He leans closer. “It’s been a few days. Do you need to do more beta testing?”
I put a hand over my mouth. “No. But we can have some non-test fun after work.” I wink, placing a hand on his chest. “I’ll see you soon.”
