Actually, on second thought, the idea of changing my appearance so that my own father wouldn’t recognize me…
But I like my face. I look like my mom. No, I will not be altering my appearance so my father doesn’t recognize me, and why would I want that? I’m never returning to Texas. Never.
For now at least, my life is here. Soon enough, it’ll be time for college.
Then, my life can truly begin.
