“You’re quiet,” Rob notes.

“You aren’t talking much either,” I point out.

“What’s on your mind?”

“Oh, all of the places I want you to kiss me,” I say.

“Oh, really? You just want to lie there, on the bed, and let me please you?”

"Yes. I mean, wouldn't that be the best way to test me to see how quiet I can be?"

“I think you want to fail,” he says dryly.

“Come on. You know you want to see how far you can push the envelope.”

“You just might be right about that,” he murmurs, and I shiver with anticipation.

He pulls into the parking lot, not far from the four motorcycles that belong to the Grim Reapers. I have to say that I'm not sure if I like being with a guy who is in a motorcycle club. Not that I have any reason to think that the Grim Reapers are anything like the Thunder Crows back in Sinking Springs here in Texas, but I also don't want to know much about the Grim Reapers either.

Yep, there's definitely a wall between us, and it's all because of my father. I don't know if I can handle all of my baggage. I'm just going to drag Rob down, make him stop laughing and smiling, and all the sex in the world won't be able to fix the massive hole I'm going to create in the both of us.

Damn. Sometimes when I drink, I can get to thinking too much, and thinking has no place with sexy times.

Rob parks, shuts off the car, climbs out, and gets me out of the car. I’m pleasantly surprised when he shuts my door and then pins me against the car, a hand running down over my body before our lips lock. Again, this kiss is not PG, and I run my fingers through his hair before pulling on the strands slightly to force his head to tilt a little more so I can deepen the kiss. He grinds against me, and I groan, our lips still touching, our tongues teasing one another.

“Get a room!” someone shouts, and Rob and I pull apart, Rob lifting his hand into the air and giving the heckler the finger.

His arm snaked around my waist, Rob and I walk over to the house he and the other guys live in on campus. They're all juniors, while I'm a lowly freshman.

Rob goes to grab his key, but the door opens. Ace Granger staggers a bit and holds up a bottle of tequila.

“How’s it going?” Ace asks, his words slurring.

“A bit drunk, huh?” Rob asks. “Do you mind stepping aside so we can get in?”

"Sure." Ace crosses one leg over the other and almost falls down, but he turns around, somehow straightening his legs, and he grandly sweeps his arm, jostling the bottle in the process.

Rob and I enter, and Ace shuts the door.

I flinch.

Rob grits his teeth. “You all right, man?”

“Right as rain,” Ace says.

“Who says that nowadays?” I murmur.

Rob shakes his head. “Do you think you could go to your room?”

“You don’t want to hang out?” Ace shakes his finger at us. “Oh, I see. Two’s a crowd, but three’s company.”

“That’s not how the saying goes,” I say gently.

Ace blinks a few times, and some of the haze in his eyes clears up. “You want me to go. You two want to be alone. Fine. I’ll go, but can I have a kiss goodbye first?”

I’m shocked that he’s asking that, but then again, he is a bit drunk. Maybe very drunk. I haven’t been him around to know how he handles his liquor.

But I'm even more shocked that my gaze has fallen to his lips, and I hate that I mentioned Ace as being hotter than Rob because that's not really fair since the two guys are both hot.
