With my back to his chest and legs on either side of his thighs, he wraps his arms around my waist and peers over my shoulder while he explains. “My current project is a pedestrian bridge for downtown Seattle.” His arms brush mine, sending little tingles through my veins, when he changes the screen from a website about plants to a simplified drawing. “It’s for a revitalization project to bring more nature downtown. The concept is a green bridge.” As he points out different elements, his arms keep brushing mine, his hot breath fans across my neck, all heating my body and driving me insane with need. “The center will be primarily open for walking. But there will be several planters with trees in them.”

I shift my weight to alleviate the growing tension between my thighs, only catching a bit of what he’s saying. “Wait, like actual trees on a bridge?”

“Yep. Real trees.”

I shift again, lifting my shirt from underneath me. His dick bounces against my bare folds, hardening, only his thin sweatpants separating us. I try to ignore it, focusing on the picture. “Like actual high, tall trees or the little ornamental ones?”

“The plan is for large, shade trees. That’s what I’m researching right now. I need to make sure the bridge will be sound enough to support the weight and the planters large enough to accommodate the roots of a full grown tree.”

“How large?” I rotate my hips along his hard length, unable to quell my growing desire.

“Really large,” he growls in my ear before licking and kissing my neck.

Tilting my head to the side to give him more access, I keep rotating my hips as the tension coils tighter. “Do you have any more plans?” The question comes out on a breathless exhale.

“Permanent benches and tables along the outsides. I want it to be a place people congregate, not just pass through.” He reaches one hand up, pinching and teasing my elongating nipple through my shirt. “Rows of narrow planters along the edges full of native plants to add more greenery. If I can find space, maybe a few planters for a community garden.”

My heart races as I reach between us. Grabbing his thick erection over his already drenched sweatpants from my arousal, I stroke his long length. “Any other plans?”

“You.”

Chapter 22

Brendan

My name.It was my name she begged for last night. My name she cried out over and over again when she came. Me. She wanted me. Neededme.

I’ve been semi-hard all day thinking about it.

I knew I was finally going to fuck her last night. But what I wasn’t expecting was that connection. I didn’t think it could be that strong our first time, that I could crave her this much already. And not just between me and her. It was there between her and Breckin as well, in their eyes and the way they looked at each other.

This time, neither of us is the third wheel. This time, it’s real.

By the time I lock all the tools and supplies up at the end of the day, I’m still smiling. Nothing has stopped it. Not even half our brickies not showing up or the electrical apprentice who doesn’t know what the hell a right angle is and can’t bend a fucking pipe to save his life. I’ve got mortar in places I didn’t know was possible, and I might be down one sparkie by the end of the week, but I’m still smiling.

I hop in my truck and race home, glad there aren’t any stop lights or rush hour traffic to slow me down. I barely park before I hop out and hurry up the steps to the back patio.

“Honey, I’m home!” I call, swinging open the door and kicking my muddy boots off.

“We’re in here,” a sultry, feminine voice answers from the dining room followed by a few moans.

Asra.

My heart speeds up. In a few confident strides, I cross the kitchen. Just inside the doorway to our temporary bedroom, I pause, leaning against the frame.
