LACHLAN

Miranda had this magic way of helping me escape in the healthiest of ways. Instead of alcohol or bad sex with a stranger—guilty escapes I’d once resorted to—she gave me pure unadulterated pleasure and something more. That something more was what surprised me the most.

I held her close as she slept. Her soft body melded perfectly to mine, and her warm breath tickled my chest.

The early morning had come, and I could hear the children running around.

I sat up, and Miranda stirred, opening her eyes.

“Sorry for waking you,” I said.

“What time is it?”

“It’s seven.”

“Oh… you haven’t slept?” she asked, sitting up along.

My morning wood rose with her. “No, I did. I only just woke up.” Smiling at her, I put my arm around her. “A quick shower?”

“Sure.”

Just the feeling of her curves undulating against my fingers sent blood charging through me.

The children ran into the room just as we were getting out of bed. I tossed a T-shirt to Miranda and wrapped a towel around myself.

“Hey. What are you up to?”

“Can we have chocolate ice cream?” Manuel asked.

Miranda shook her head, scrunching her face. “No. Just give me a minute, and I’ll come and make bacon and eggs. Would you like that?”

The children nodded.

“Off you go.”

They scampered off.

“I’ll go and sort out their breakfast,” she said.

I took her into my arms. “A quick fuck in the shower is out of the question I suppose?”

She giggled. “It’s rarely a quick fuck.”

“No, you minx.” My mood had bounced back. It felt nice having that domestic scene around me.

I held her close, clutched her perfect ass, and kissed her. “You feel hot in the mornings.”

Miranda stroked my dick. “So do you.”

“Mm… nice.”

She pulled away. “I need to tend to the children.”

“Put on my robe,” I said, slapping her butt.

“Ouch.”
