She stripped off his tee shirt next, then buried her face in his chest. The fine hairs tickled her nose, but she closed her eyes and breathed him in.
Spence’s fingers fumbled between them, then he snapped her bra open. It hung from her shoulders, and finally, they were skin to skin.
She rubbed against him, moaning when his chest hair tickled her nipples. When Spence bent and took one in his mouth, she arched her back, already so turned on that she was hovering on the edge of her climax.
Apparently sensing how close she was, he scooped her into his arms and carried her into the bedroom. He set her down long enough to rip back the quilt and top sheet, then laid her on the bed and followed her down. His fingers fumbled with her jeans as she tugged at his. “Stupid jeans,” she panted. “Should’ve worn sweatpants.”
He knelt beside her and slid her loosened jeans down her legs. Tossed them on the floor. Then he studied the violet silk underwear she wore. Pressed a kiss to the damp spot between her legs, then slid them off. It only took a moment for Spence to lose the rest of his clothes.
As his gaze touched every inch of her body, he fumbled in the drawer of her nightstand for a condom. “There are so many things I want to do with you, Zoe,” he murmured as he slid it on. “But we have the rest of our lives to go slow. To play. Right now, I need you too much. I want you too badly to take my time.”
“Me, too,” she whispered. “I want you inside me. Now.”
Once the condom was in place, Spence rolled onto his back and pulled her on top of him. He held her gaze as she lowered herself onto him. Took him inside.
She sucked in a breath. Bent to kiss him wildly. Then she began to move. “Oh, my God, Spence. You feel amazing.”
“You do, too, Zoe.” He put his hands on her breasts and brushed his thumbs over her nipples. She arched her back, feeling her climax barreling toward her. Spence thrust into her as she moved over him. She closed her eyes and screamed as she came, and he followed her over.
She collapsed onto his chest, and he nuzzled her neck. Kissed her throat. “I love you, Zoe,” he murmured. “I love you with everything I have. You’re the most important part of my life. You’re all that I need to be happy and I’ll work every day to make sure you’re just as happy as I am.”
Zoe turned her head and nuzzled his chest. His throat. His cheek. Breathed in his scent. She’d never get enough of Spence. “The last ten days, I was wandering in a desert,” she whispered into his neck. “Everything was dry. Barren. Parched. I was desolate without you. I’m so glad you came back to me.”
“I was a fool to walk away,” he said. “But I’ve learned my lesson. You’re all I want, and you’re stuck with me forever.”
“Nowhere else I want to be,” she said.
He tucked her into his side. “We have the whole night ahead of us,” he said. “I intend to make every second of it count.” His mouth curled into a smile as he watched her. “There’ll be a lot of screaming.”
“Yeah?” She smiled at him. “You want to tell me the details?”
“I’d rather show you,” he said, brushing his mouth over hers.
“Why don’t you do both?” she said, pressing a kiss to his mouth. “I’ve missed listening to you tell me what you’re going to do to me.”
“I can do that,” he said, his eyes darkening.
“Good,” she whispered. “I thought I’d never see you again, Spence. I saw nothing but a quiet, barren desert in my future. But now? I see every color in the rainbow, and some I’ve never seen before. And lots of noise.” She bumped his neck with her nose. “I love it when we make each other scream.”
