“No, you were hitting every bump you could, even when I asked you not to!” Amanda yelled.

“I cannot see all the bumps, Mandy. I’m sorry,” Kit said as Math circled back and shut off his machine. Tess peeked out from behind him.

“Those two,” was all Julia said from behind him.

“What’s going on?” Math asked his sisters, having missed the argument that had happened so far. By his confused expression, it seemed Math had missed his sister’s disagreements all morning.

“Kit is driving like a maniac,” Amanda accused Kit, her arms folded as she stood away from the machine.

“My driving’s just fine.”

Julia put her hands on his shoulders and climbed off the machine they shared. Her touch did nothing to him; no sparks, no tingles. Nothing like when he touched Amanda. And he loved being touched by Amanda.

If he had thought their first time together had been magical, it had nothing on what had taken place in her tiny shower as they got ready to come out for the trail ride. He had kissed every inch of her, all the inches he had spent months dreaming of seeing, touching, tasting. And he had gotten her to come with her back pressed to the shower wall as hot water washed over them. Twice.

Just looking at her yelling at her sister was making him want her. Her angry face was just as cute as her sleeping face. She was still arguing with her younger sister with her gloved hands on her hips, hips he had caressed that morning.

What bothered him most was that she had not wanted to reveal their relationship today. Maybe he was asking too much to tell everyone they were a couple only twelve hours after their first time together, but it was exactly what he had wanted to do. Tell everyone.

He had wanted her to ride with him, not Julia. But before he could say anything, Kit had requested Amanda ride with her. Now the woman regretted that decision.

Julia yelled at both the sisters. “I will drive, and Mandy can ride with me!”

Again?!his mind screamed. “How about I take Mandy, and we can go as slowly as she wants. I’m in the back, anyway.”

“Perfect.” Kit shot her sister one last angry look, then walked back to her four-wheeler.

“Works for me,” Julia agreed, and they got on the machine.

Math turned back around and headed back down the trail, followed by the younger Nordskov sisters.

Driving up to Amanda, who was still standing with crossed arms, he asked, “Need a ride, Nordskov?”

“I don’t know how you get by with calling me that. Every one of them are Nordskovs.” She was still a little ticked off.

“No, only you and Math are. The other two go by their married names,” he corrected.

She was still standing, not getting on the machine yet. “Why do you call me Nordskov? My name is Amanda. Can you say, Amanda?”

“Amanda Marie Nordskov. See, I can say the whole thing.” He got off the machine and pulled her into his arms. “I call you Nordskov because when you moved back, right next to my place, I said, ‘Well, if it isn’t Amanda Kelly,’ and you said, ‘It’s Nordskov.’ I took that to mean you wanted to be called Nordskov all the time.”

“You sometimes call me Mandy,” she reminded him and kissed his chin.

“Because when I want to get you naked, I don’t think Nordskov is the name I want to say.” He took off his gloves so he could touch her.

“You only call me Mandy when you want me naked?” she questioned.

“Almost always,” he confirmed, cupping her cold cheeks with his warm hands.

“Hue?” A slight frown crossed her face.

“What, Mandy?” He kissed her red nose that was cold under his lips.

She smirked. “Do you want me naked?”

“I always want you naked.” Nodding, he pulled her closer. Just to prove his point, he rubbed his erection against her leg. He was rewarded by her laughing. And he kissed her to make her stop.

“I regret all these layers.” Her words were muffled as she took off her mittens and slid her hands under his jacket.
