Chapter 6
The Nature of The Wolfe
Nick
I couldn’t sleep that night. On one hand, I was happy that I had sex with Aria Wolfe. For some odd reason, I had a feeling that it was my intention all this while. The smile of satisfaction that spread on my face when I recalled what happened, made me shiver a little,
“In fact, if I think carefully about it,” I said to myself, “Wasn’t I a little experienced in that?” It felt familiar like I’d done it before… Not once, not twice. Nah, maybe I was having a bad case of Déjà vu. Back to what I was saying earlier, while I was feeling good about sleeping with Aria, a part of me felt like it meant nothing to her. What I heard in the restroom was just a rumor.
Then again rumors are usually built on things that have actually happened. Maybe it was what she had done in the past and she had changed?
Still…
No use thinking about it now. ***
The Following Day
“Hunter,” I called as I was preparing to leave, “About Aria.”
“Yeah? What about her?” He was also preparing to go out.
“Before that, where are you going?” I noticed he did this some days. “Just stretching my legs,” he replied, “About Aria Wolfe?”
“I heard this rumor that she slept with every male worker in the office,” I said. “Oh,” he replied and put on his jacket. Not the reaction I was expecting. He looked
at me, and as if realizing what I had just said, “Wait, you’re serious?”
“Well I just overheard them and like I said, could just be a rumor,” I replied. “Hmm, well, rumors sometimes can be based on actual facts,” he scratched his
chin,
“Why not ask one of your colleagues?”
“I don’t think it’s necessary,” I put on my shoes and reached for my camera. I turned
it on and looked at the pictures of Aria.
“Do you love her?” he asked.
“I … I don’t know,” I turned off the camera, “Also something else has been
bothering me.”
“Yeah?”
“This might sound crazy but… when I had sex with Aria, I felt two things…” I said. “It’s called an orgasm and post-nut clarity, look it up.” He cut in.
“That too but wait, no not that,” I sighed, “It felt like I had done it before.” His expression turned pale, “What did you say?”
“What’s with that look?” I asked, “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” “Oh, uh don’t mind me. What you said reminded me of this horror story I was
reading last night,”
Color returned to his face, “What did you mean by that?”
“Just what I said,” I said, “It felt like I had done it before. Apart from the kiss, when
I was eating her out, it felt intentional. Like I knew the spots to hit.”
