"Makes sense," Michael said.
"As much as I hate to admit it," Alyson handed a file in her hand to Aria. Aria read it and groaned then handed it to me, "What do you say?"
"Uh, yeah… yes I'm in."
"Great work with social media team on that," she pointed at the file as I took it,
"Also, you're moving into my office."
She didn't wait for my reply and headed to her office.
"It was nice knowing you Nick Parker," Alyson said and turned to leave.
"What did she mean by that?" I asked Michael.
"Just ignore her and don't take what she said at face value," he smiled and left too.
With a deep breath I walked into Aria's office and she handed me a flash drive containing my task and targets for the week.
I got deep into it and I discovered it wasn't so hard. I still had the time to assist Dave with his designs and the other design team members.
It was almost closing hours and the meal I had was disturbing my stomach. I was in the restroom when I heard some people come in.
"Ah, the kid is super lucky," I recognized the voice as Dave's, "Now he gets to be in her."
"Man, I'd give anything to be personal assistant," the other was Isaac, "the man must be excited."
Oh, they were talking about me. And what did he mean by be in her?
"I don't know man, he might end up like the others," Dave said.
The others?
"Well, he'll probably enjoy the whole thing," Isaac replied.
"You know what I just remembered?"
"What?"
"Her head game."
"Broooo…"
I could hear both of them high-five themselves. When I was sure they were gone, I came out. They were talking about Aria. I returned to her office and saw her packing up.
"Oh, good work today Nick," she said.
"Thank you Aria," I said.
She stopped packing up and looked at me, "Finally you stopped ignoring me."
She let out a sigh, "Was it because of yesterday's event?"
I nodded.
"I'm sorry, like I said I shouldn't have tickled you yesterday," she apologized.
"Tickling? That's what you meant?"
