She pulls my face down to her, our lips meet again, and she crawls onto my lap, straddling me.
“Miss Hall, if you start this, I will be ending it.” I grab her ass and pull her into me, pushing my now hard length into her.
“Maybe we should eat lunch,” she says, rotating her hips, then she goes back to sitting next to me.
“You might have to lock up when we are done.”
She looks confused for a second before she smiles.
“And why is that, Doctor Walker?”
I run my hand from her knee to the inside of her thigh, stopping inches away from her heat. “I’ll need dessert afterwards.”
She pulls her bottom lip into her mouth, God I love when she does that. I put my thumb under her lip and pull it down, then kiss her softly.
“Lunch,” I say. She nods and stands.
“Mine’s in the back. Be right back.”
I watch as she walks to the back and when she returns, we eat, and talk about her niece. I love watching her when she talks about family. She gets a light in her eyes, family is incredibly important to her.
“I can’t wait to meet your sister. She sounds pretty cool.”
“She is. She’s excited to meet you too.”
We sit in silence for a few minutes.
“When do we do that?” she asks.
“Do what? Meet one another’s family as a couple?”
“Yeah. I mean, she knows we are technically together, I guess.”
“We are.”
I don’t want her to doubt that I am dedicated to her.
“I’ll meet you sister whenever you want me to. If she’s important to you, then she’s important to me.”
She looks at me with admiration. I don’t think she understands how hard I have fallen for her. She didn’t want to rush things, but I can’t help it. She’s the most amazing woman I’ve ever met, and I thank my luck every day that I was able to move to this small town and find her. I don’t know that I have ever believed in fate, but me going so long without finding anyone and her not having good luck with dating...it feels like fate.
“Will you come have dinner with us Saturday? Arthur has been asking about you.”
“He has been?”
“Yeah. He was very impressed with your zoo animal knowledge.”
She laughs a little. “I would love to.”
“Good,” I say as I put stuff back into my lunch bag. “Now...” I look at her with a sly grin, “go lock the door.”
Her eyes grow wide, but she gets up and locks it. Then starts walking towards the back room, she looks back to me.
“You comin’?” she asks.
I quickly stand and stride over to her. I dip and grab her around her thighs, bringing her up to me, her legs wrapping around my middle.
“I’m not sure why the universe took so long to bring me here,” I say to her, and she kisses me.
