“Thank you, Chris. I appreciate that,” she says then lays her head on my shoulder. I tip mine down to hers. I knew there had to be a reason she was on this trip.
“You know, I understand the pain of a breakup, but I’m not going to lie. I’m glad he broke up with you.”
Her head shoots up, and her brows are bunched together as she looks at me.
I cup the side of her face in my hand and pull her to me slowly.
“If he hadn’t, you wouldn’t be here, and I wouldn’t be able to do this.” I softly kiss her lips and lean back.
“I’m glad he did, too,” she crashes her lips to mine.
I swipe my tongue at the entrance of her mouth, and her lip’s part for me. Our tongues play a game with each other, and our hands find their favorite places on one another. She bites my lip and I wince, but it sends a bolt right to my dick.
Not tonight, man.
“Sorry. I got carried away,” she whispers.
“No, you’re fine.”
“Thank you again. You have made this trip ten times better than I ever thought it would be.” She put her hand on the side of my face, and I lean into it. Her thumb runs along my cheek, grazing over my dimple.
“I love these,” she says.
“My cheeks?” I cock my head.
“No silly. Your dimples. They are adorable.”
“Adorable, huh?”
“Adorably hot.” She boops my nose with her finger before she stands.
“Sleep time?” she asks.
“Yes. Tomorrow is going to be just as long as today was.” I get up and strip down to my boxers while she changes. I climb into the bed and hold back the covers for her.
“I didn’t even have time to shower,” she says.
“You could smell like an onion. I wouldn’t care. Come, here.” I wave her towards me, and she climbs in bed. Putting her back to my front. I remind my dick that tonight is not the night. I put my arm around her waist and kiss the back of her neck.
“Good night, beautiful.”
“Good night, handsome.”
We lay there, our breathing evens out and then, it hits me.
“Wait. Your best friend’s name is Chrissy?”
“Yeah.”
“And I’m Chris.”
She laughs. “I never actually thought about that. I must have a thing for C names.”
