We exchanged grins again.

“Do I get to cuddle with you in the hammock now?” Liz teased me.

“Only if you’re willing to cuddle Dinoster too,” I teased back, grabbing the creepy blanket.

Liz laughed. “I guess we’ll survive.”

I tugged her into the hammock and under the blanket, kissing her forehead before I rested my cheek there, snuggled against the woman I loved. “We’re going to do a hell of a lot better than survive,” I murmured to her, sliding my hand over her stomach and leaving it to rest there.

“Always so positive,” she murmured back, her lips curved upward.

“You love me for it.”

“Damn straight I do.” She turned, brushing her lips over my chin. “Do you want to tell the pack, or should I?”

“Let’s do it together.”

“Deal.”

As much as I loved our relationship, that was my absolute favorite thing about being Liz’s mate—that we got to do everything together. That I was never alone, and she wasn’t either.

“Whoa!” Ev laugh-yelled like a maniac. “I’ve got the coolest rockster for you pickles to come see. Come on!”

Liz and I exchanged grins.

“Alright, we’ll be there in a second,” she called back.

“Hurry!” Ev exclaimed.

“We’d better be quick pickles, or that rockster might run away,” I told Liz, lifting her out of the hammock and setting her on her feet.

She laughed, and our fingers intertwined as we headed toward Evan.

I loved our instant family so damned much, and couldn’t wait to see it grow by another little kidster.
