He moans my name in the same instant that his stroking fingers push me over the edge, into yet another orgasm as I throw my head back, straining against the cuffs as he shoves forward. I feel the heat of him filling me, his cock harder than ever, thick and solid inside my ass as he comes hard. I feel his chest pressing into my back, his hand on my face as he turns it to kiss me as he comes inside of me.

“Fuck, Saoirse, I fucking love you,” he gasps, kissing me harder, and then when we both come down, limp and exhausted from orgasms, he undoes my cuffs a little clumsily.

“I love you too,” I whisper as he picks me up from the bench, carrying me to the bed at the far end of the room. He pulls me close, stroking my hair as I nestle into him. “This was exactly what I wanted,” I whisper, and Connor smiles, leaning forward to kiss me again.

“The night’s far from over,” he promises, pulling my naked body against his as he deepens the kiss.

As far as I’m concerned, the night could go on forever.

EPILOGUE

SAOIRSE

Three months later

October

“The car is waiting downstairs!” Connor calls to me as I slip into my flats, throwing my hair up into a ponytail and grabbing for my purse and a light jacket against the fall chill. We have an appointment today with my OB/GYN, the first one where we might actually be able to see the baby on the ultrasound. I think Connor is as nervous as I am, and I find him nearly pacing in the foyer as I join him downstairs.

Ana had been kind enough to refer us to hers. Over the last few months, I’ve made an effort to heal the relationship between us. While I don’t know if we’ll ever be the best of friends, things are much better between us than they were before. She’s agreed to join the board of my foundation when she feels able to, after her baby is born. Connor and Liam have been looking into ways to expand the other housing on the estate so that they can have space of their own while still living on the McGregor property.

The peace between the brothers, while fragile at first, has only grown—as has my and Connor’s happiness in our marriage. It’s not to say we never fight or are never at odds, but we’ve slowly learned to work through it.

He holds my hand the entire time that we’re waiting, his fingers tightly laced with mine until we’re called back. My doctor takes one look at him as we walk in and grins.

“First time?” she asks, and Connor frowns at her, but she waves a hand at him.

“All first-time fathers are nervous,” she tells him. “But we’re going to take great care of your wife. You’ll be able to hear the heartbeat today, and you might even be able to see your baby on the ultrasound.”

Connor’s hand stays tightly laced with mine as she spreads the cold jelly on my stomach, gently rubbing the ultrasound wand over me. The screen crackles to life, all black and white static, but we can see a small jellybean shape and a floatingsomethinginside of it.

“There’s your baby,” the doctor says, smiling. “And you can hear the heartbeat, just—there.”

Connor’s hand tightens on mine, and I feel my heart leap in my chest. I’d always known we’d do our best to have children, but I hadn’t realized just how happy it would make me to see and hear this evidence that I really, truly, am going to have our first baby.

And more than anything, I’m grateful that when I give birth, it will be into a marriage filled with love and happiness, not cold distance. I’m glad that Connor and I forgave each other, that we made up, that our future isoursnow, together.

I’m so grateful for everything, and my eyes fill with tears as I look up at Connor and see that his, too, are misty.

“Everything looks perfect,” the doctor says. “Mother and baby are both healthy, and I don’t see any issues. We’ll schedule your next appointment, but for now, just keep doing what you’re doing.”

“I can’t believe it,” Connor says, once we’re finally on the way home. “We’re really going to have a baby, Saoirse. You and I—another little McGregor. The first of many?”

“Many?” I tease him, and he grins at me as the car pulls up to the estate, helping me out of the car and sweeping me into his arms.

“Absolutely,” he promises. “As many little McGregors as you’ll let me put in you. In fact, I think we should start practicing for the next one now.”

I expect him to put me down when we step inside, but instead, he carries me all the way up the stairs, all the way to our bedroom. He lays me down on the bed, undressing me with careful hands, and then when we’re both naked, he slides down my body, his mouth and fingers finding my aching pussy as he spreads me wide for him, licking me to a slow and powerful orgasm.

Before I’m even finished coming, he moves up my body, kissing me as he angles himself to slide inside of me, hot and sweet and slow as I flutter around him.

“I’m going to spend the rest of my life fucking you, making love to you, and everything in between,” Connor murmurs against my lips as he thrusts into me, filling me completely.

I wrap my arms around his neck, my legs around his hips, arching into him as I take every inch of his thick, perfect cock. “I think that sounds exactly like how I want to spend the rest of my life, too.”

“I love you, Saoirse McGregor.” Connor kisses me, but just before his mouth claims mine, I whisper against his lips.

“I love you too, Connor McGregor. Forever.”
