“Fuck, I want to rip this off you,” he growled, in-between greedily devouring me.

I bit into my lower lip again and threw my head back, welcoming the friction against my barely-covered core. The barrage of sensations began to set me off as Raf’s mouth met my neck again.

My voice shook with need. “Oh, God.”

He claimed my mouth once more, accompanied with a renewed, urgent rhythm of his hips. Our moans and lubricious pants faded as an orgasm started to build deep in my core.

“Don’t you dare stop,” I demanded breathlessly, hovering frustratingly close to the edge. All I needed was a few more exquisite thrusts perfectly placed against my aching clit.

One.

Two.

An unchecked scream tore from my mouth, but not the good kind. Not the sexy kind that came right before stars exploded and satisfying pleasure burst through every cell of the body. Instead, it was a scream filled with shock and dissatisfaction as Rafael violently tore himself away.

I gasped for air. “What the hell?”

He reversed another pace with a wicked smirk despite him panting as hard as I was.

“You gave me permission for a kiss, not an orgasm, baby girl.”

“But, but, Iwantedthat,” I stammered, as the high waned, slowly giving way to the realization of how far we’d actually gone.

He tipped his head to the ceiling, exposing his neck tattoos and prominent Adam’s apple. “Fuck, you’re killing me, Greer.”

“The feeling’s mutual, I can assure you,” I snapped, and pushed my dress back into place. I straightened the neckline while Rafael adjusted himself within his jeans.

“I should get going,” he stated, distance now hardening his voice. “You’ve got a handle on things, yeah?”

I didn’t know if he was referring to my job or getting my body back under control. Regardless, I confirmed absentmindedly that I had everything taken care of.

“And, Rafael?”

He looked back and raised a brow in question.

“This won’t happen again.”

His cocky smirk returned. “We’ll see.”

With a conceited grin, he swaggered from my office like he owned the firm and threw a casual, “Ciao,” to Roxiee on his way past.

I went to storm after him and argue my point, but stopped short when Roxiee’s wide eyes met mine.

Oh fuck.

Spine ramrod straight, shoulders back, and color on her cheeks meant one thing and one thing only; she knew.

“Holy fuck, that was hot!” she hissed, as soon as the elevator doors sealed Rafael within.

My heart tripped and climbed into my throat. “Yousawthat?”

She snapped up her hands. “Accidentally. I was coming in to deliver the details about the gala, but hot damn, I came out needing a cold shower and a little time to myself.”

“Rox!” I cried, utterly mortified now that reality had returned with full force.

Deviousness danced in her eyes. “I should have made him your last meeting of the day,” she teased with a giggle.

I plucked a piece of copy paper off her desk, balled it, and threw it at her. “Get on with your work, cheeky bitch,” I called, as I sauntered back into my office.
