Sienna groaned.

“Sexy lesbian firefighter?” she asked. “Every gay girl’s fantasy!”

“I know,” Krissy said. “I’ve never been happier.”

“That is so amazing!” Sienna replied. “And now you’re part of this crew, huh? So we get to see each other more. Who knows, we might actually discover we like each other as friends.”

Krissy laughed. She put her arm around Sienna’s shoulders.

“I’ve always known I would like you as a friend, Sienna. Now I’m glad we get to be that.”

“Me too,” Sienna responded.

“Drink?” Vanessa asked, approaching them. “Chloë has made a punch concoction which is probably illegal in forty-seven states, but is delicious. If you and Becca have too much of it, we have three spare bedrooms in the house.”

“How can I turn that down?” Krissy asked.

***

The punch was no joke. And it was sneaky. It tasted harmless—almost like grape Kool-Aid—as if it had zero alcohol content. But after a few sips, Krissy felt the hidden booze work its way through her system, instantly turning her on. In her bra, her nipples tightened and beneath her mound, she started feeling a nice warmth.

Becca, standing next to her, drinking a glass of white wine, took a curious sip from Krissy’s cup and started laughing.

“Keys,” she demanded, holding out her hand.

Krissy didn’t even attempt to argue.

“They’re in my purse, babe,” she replied, nodding to where she had placed her bag down on the deck floor next to the food table. She took another drink of the punch. “I will not resist you taking them away from me.”

“I love you,” Becca whispered.

“I love you too,” Krissy said. “And I am incredibly horny right now.”

Becca cocked an eyebrow.

“Is that right?”

Krissy nodded.

“This punch is like an aphrodisiac,” she said and then whispered, “I bet Morgan is kept very, very happy by Chloë.”

A tink-tink-tink sound was heard, silencing the various conversations happening on the deck. Vanessa and Megan were standing together, Megan holding a small metal fork up to her wine glass.

“We have a small announcement to make,” Vanessa began.

Megan looked at her.

“Excuse me?” she said. “Small?”

“I’m sorry,” Vanessa said, laughing. “It’s a big announcement.”

“That’s better,” Megan said, nudging Vanessa. “Super big!”

“So, we know that the pandemic is probably something we all have to live with for quite some time,” Vanessa went on. “However, there’s a point where we have to decide to stop putting our lives on hold. To that end, Megan and I have finally set a date for our wedding.”

All of the guests started cheering and congratulating them. But Vanessa held up her hands.

“Not only that, but we’ve decided we are getting married in Tahiti!”
